Fantastic site to stay at, staff very friendly and helpful.
Would highly recommend.
Used the site as visiting family in gravenhurst.
Ideally located for our purposes.
Initially had a problem when returning at night with access due to number plate not being recognised but was quickly resolved

Henlow Bridge Lakes is an immaculate well run, friendly site. It has something for everyone for all ages throughout the weekend.
On arrival I was greeted by staff who were attentive. Entry is strictly for those who are staying at the campsite with the extra security of a key code gate.
This is reassuring when you have young children, knowing that they are safe. I was informed someone will visit me once I settled down to give me a breakdown of what to expect.
A full exhaustive list of entertainment for adults and children if you want to participate.
There’s a well stocked shop on site offering breakfast orders. A mobile food stall also visits as well as pop up shops. There are plenty of toilets block which are cleaned regularly.
The lakes are beautifully laid out and peaceful to walk around. What impressed me also was the staff are seen on a regular basis picking the odd litter that has blown out of the bins.
I definitely recommend this place and will be looking to return soon.

A well maintained site. Clean and well presented pitches. Good fishing lakes.
Friendly and helpful staff.
The site shop catered well for fishermen but maybe could cater more for campers by way of stocking more basic food needs.
Will be booking again.

The layout of the site is fantastic. Well spread out.
We arrived prior to the Easter break so it was lovely and quiet. It got busier on Good Friday.
Bad points- no WiFi - there is but only in one small area.
I read underfloor heated showers - only 1 block. The showers we had, although the water was hot, the room itself was cold. No heater.

The site was clean, neat and tidy, staff were helpful and pleasant.
Information with regards to local pubs was a little bit optimistic, we were told the nearest pub was 10 - 15 mins walk, I doubt I could have done it in this time even walking very briskly and with my wife not being able to walk quickly it actually took 40 mins, we got a taxi back!
The other problem was traffic noise, the A507 is a very busy road pretty much 24-7 and elevated above the site, from our pitch it made getting off to sleep difficult.

I booked a 3 night stay at henlow bridge lake as it was my wifes birthday the place was amazing, the staff left a birthday card and a bag of choc for her.
The camp site is very clean and tidy. It is also very secure. Had a chance to go fishing but ran out of time.
We will certainly be going back again.
We stayed in a lodge, what an amazing place it was. Clean and tidy.
We have a little dog and the camp site is pet friendly.
Overall it was a fantastic weekend away.
