We were there in June 2015. Smashing site. With ACSI card 12 euro per night, that's correct 12 euro. Would definitely return. Village of Domme approx 2km has everything you need. Real nice part of France.

A fantastic campsite. Beautifully situated on the banks of the Dordogne just below Domme and well placed for many of the main attractions in the region. We stayed in a static caravan which was basic but perfectly adequate and a bargain price for the last week of the school holidays. This is definitely a good campsite for families with a kids play area and football/basketball pitch but is clearly also popular with older couples. Camping piches looked well sized with plenty of trees and bushes to provide shade and borders for the pitches. The campsite appears to predominantly cater to the French and is all the better for it. As previously stated the owners and lots of the staff speak good English and are very friendly and helpful. We got a real sense that it was a 'family run' place and the staff clearly enjoyed working there which contributes to the laid back atmosphere of the place. The swimming area is excellent with two pools one of which is heated and has a spa area. The bizarre French 'no swimming shorts' rule was not enforced. Entertainment, including a kiddy friendly disco and live music, was put on 3 of the 7 nights we were there but was not intrusive. There is free wifi in the bar and pool area and some of the closer pitches. 10 out of 10. Definitely recommended

First two weeks in September and the weather wasn't brilliant. Some sun, some cloud and some rain. The good thing about the site was that it drained relatively quickly.
Very quiet while we were there, maybe only 40% or fewer of the pitches in use, so we could take our pick of many. Most pitches were marked by trees and bushes but there were also a fair few 'free range' pitches in the field close to the river. All the pitches were more or less level and of a good size. It looked like just about every pitch had the option of electricity. Water is at standpipes dotted around the site.
Loos, showers and wash basins were kept clean and the water was usually hot. Certainly never needed to queue.
Free wi-fi in the bar/pool area was handy and fairly fast. Bread was available in the small shop every morning but if you wanted anything other than a baguette or plain croissant you needed to be early. Bar and snack bar were good. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The ambience of the site is fairly laid back, no list of do's and don'ts.
Domme is the nearest village (at the top of a cliff) to which there is a very pleasant, off road (apart from a couple of hundred yards), walk through the woods and fields. It is one of the 'tourist' villages so plenty of nick-nack shops, cafes, restaurants etc. There are lots of these picturesque cliff top or cliff bottom villages in the area. Chateaux are thick on the ground as are some stunning gardens, Erignac and Marqueyssac are two not to be missed. Several 'caveman' sites are more for the kids.
There are some very attractive walks in the area. Certainly the ones we did were well marked too.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to use the site again. Well recommended.

A little gem of a site, near a beautiful village of Domme which as some of the best views in the dordogne region, reminds you of a Cotswold village but this is a lot nicer. The owners of the site are so friendly speak good English, pitches are very flat most shaded, facilities basic but clean, nice bar area, nice swimming pool. We found this site by chance and ended up staying a extra night, would return again if in the area.

Loved this tranquil site and would definitely return here when visiting Dordogne again.
Very large flat grassy pitches (choose your pitch)
Friendly staff.
Not a sound overnight,
Facilities good and clean toilet block.
Plenty of sunbeds round pool.
Nice restaurant and bar which is open until end of sept, easy cycling/walking down bumpy lane to another bar/restaurant right on side of river with lovely sunsets.

This is a lovely site on the banks of the river. The staff are all very friendly and speak very good English.
There is a lovely new swimming pool, with a little bar and shop too, which are very friendly and handy!
We cycled up to Domme which is a very pretty town and there is a fabulous jewellery shop there too!
The pitches are on grass/compact sand and the views were beautiful. There are lots of tourist places to visit in the locality & it would take more than a week to see them all!
A lovely site 10/10

A lovely campsite on the banks of the River Dordogne.
Very quiet when we visited, and a totally relaxed atmosphere.
There is a good swimming pool and another one is under construction.
Free wi-fi near reception.
The reception staff are very friendly and speak good English.
There are a large number of walnut trees on site and we were presented with a large bag of them as we left.
The toilets are 'unisex' and are regularly cleaned.
They were poorly lit at night and a torch was useful.
The weather when we were there was very wet, and as the pitches were on grass, growing in very sandy soil, the site became boggy, and some motorhomes were unable to drive off their pitches without churning up their pitch.
This was during exceptionally wet weather and would probably not be a problem normally.
I would recommend this site.

Loved this well maintained campsite beside the Dordoyne river and in the lee of Domme surrounded by corn fields. Very peaceful campsite with a beautiful pool and large pitches with two toilet blocks, both beautifully clean. Unisex toilets and showers with good clean dish washing and clothes washing facilities with plenty of hot water.
There is a small shop on site with essential goods including the bread ordering facility. They ran a restaurant and bar adjacent to the pool which we did not use but was told it was very good. Canoes were available to rent for use on the river. An amazing area for sightseeing, loved the villages and old towns with their narrow roads, but rather hilly for cycling. We loved the general area but found difficulty getting a 23' caravan down the narrow roads as we are new to caravanning. Hopefully we shall do better next time. Unfortunately we also had quite a lot of rain so would have enjoyed it more had it been drier. - Beggars cannot be choosers!
