Brilliant camp site
So big with all the lakes
Only just over a mile to walk into town
Perfect evenings in front of the log fire

This is a lovely site with many different areas to camp in and lots of woods and lakes to explore.
No officious pointless rules, signs or instructions. No fixed pitches once you were in your field, which is great. You can have fires in a fire pit and there is loads of space. Friendly and low key.
Only negative was several thoughtless campers flying drones over the site, which are noisy and intrusive. Perhaps they could remind people not to use them on arrival and put a notice up in the office.

A lovely rural and quiet site.
Basic but everything you need. Could help having working lights in the toilets but the hot water was perfect for washing up and the shower.

This site is huge. Spacious field meant there was plenty of distance from other campers.
It was perfectly flat which made for an easy set up.
Facilities are basic but adequate.

We stayed for a weekend in August,
Lovely quiet site (there is a bit of noise from the planes, but nothing that could spoil our time)
You can pitch up wherever, have fires and are generally left alone.
Brilliant weekend!

We visited Gabriels Fishery on the early May bank holiday. We were a party of three caravans who spent a lovely family time together.
We had BBQs, campfires, cooked bananas with cholcoate much to the kids disgust.
The owner was extremely friendly and couldn't have welcomed us enough.
We had a lovely relaxing time here and would definitely come again.

I was having trouble finding a campsite at short notice then I stumbled across this place and was surprised how reasonable the rate was.
The drive to find this little gem is through beautiful countryside. On arrival I was very happy to find it nestled in a remote area yet close to shops.
I would highly recommend a trip here, I shall be returning to explore and give the fishing a go. The lakes are a beautiful oasis, perfect.

We regret that our stay could have been better if certain things were properly attended too. There was no toilet paper in any of the two toilets.
They were dirty and no attention or attempt for cleanliness was made. The solitary shower was very rickety with an abundance of water laying on the floor. No mop or bucket was available to clear up any spillages. Both my wife and I were scalded by overly hot water.
Definitely requires attention as reported to the owners. The waste disposal point was blocked even though it was reported as being so. The location was idyllic despite being on the flight path of Gatwick airport.
Despite this we would stay again if more attention was made to the shower and toilet facilities.

1st camping experience. Very impressed! Peaceful, spacious camping grounds surrounded by greenery, trees & rivers. The fishing is in a separate part, if that's not what you're there for.
Nice clean toilet & shower facilities. It is the perfect location as only a 20 minute walk to Edenbridge town.
At only £5 pppn it is so cheap for what it was & the owners couldn't have been more accommodating & laid back.
Thank you, I will definitely be coming back!
