This was a pleasant quick stopover to enable us to get services and washing done on our travels.
It was a bank holiday weekend and the site was very busy.
Hill views from the site.
We didn't walk to the beach but it isn't far.

Recently bought a caravan and this was our first outing in it.
Very clean, secure and well maintained site. Toilets very clean. Family friendly.
Kids enjoyed the play park (enclosed area with swings, slide, climbing frame) and the superb beach which is within walking distance. Didn't want to leave.
It was very busy over the weekend we stayed and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves but there was no disturbance at night.
Basic shop on site. Very friendly staff. We were able to stay late on site (had to move pitch because it had been specifically booked but no problem moving to another pitch).
Plenty of tourist attractions in the area.
Great start to caravanning.
We intend to return.

Just returned from this caravan park after a very enjoyable stay. Really nice layout of touring pitches, with plenty of space around each pitch, unlike so many other parks in the area.
Toilet and shower facilities are clean and tidy. Showers are 60p, which I feel is a bit excessive. Kids play park is good for over 5s. Benone beach is a pleasant 10 minute walk.
Shop and takeaway within walking distance also. Was staying on my own with my two kids and felt very safe and comfortable in this park. Lovely family feel about it.
Will definitely return here.

Without a doubt this is our number one favourite caravan park in Northern Ireland. The park is very well run and the owners work very hard to keep it that way.
Entrance and exit is strictly controlled via electronic gates and is very secure. The park is also covered by CCTV and you will find the owner spending loads of time walking through the park talking to the guests. There are no tent pitches on this site - Motorhomes and caravans only.
Situated just a short walk from Benone beach the park has excellent pitches and is without a doubt the best park in Benone. Pitches are mostly grass but some hardstand pitches (originally destined for mobile homes) are available this year. Some people seem to prefer these to the grass.
Facilities are very clean although they could be a little larger. Pitches are large and stay dry despite this years copious rainfall. There is no problem pitching an awning here but beware it can get stormy (as does every site in Benone) so bring the tie downs and plenty of pegs.
There is a large playpark for the kids and there is a shop and two takeaways within a 200 yard radius. Very hard to find any negatives here.

I am very fond of camping here as it's close to the beach and an ideal base to explore the whole of the north coast. I enjoy bringing my dog, but am pleased that the site has a policy of keeping dogs on leashes, and are strict about owners cleaning up their dogs mess too.
