Have been regular campers here. We absolutely love it.
Mr and Mrs Strange are always so welcoming and accommodating.
Short drive to Southwold and Walbeswick.

Friendly owners. Large immaculately mown field. Very quiet with easy access to shops and pubs.
Short journey by car to beaches and various POI.
Would recommend.

The owner, Mrs Strange, made us very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for her. Everything had been done in accordance with current Covid directives and with very good signage we felt quite safe.
The site itself is a very large field with the grass well cut Although we had plenty of cable, Mrs Strange had extension electric cable for other arrivals.
Very quiet with just the sound of the cows in an adjacent field, and we enjoyed watching the swallows swooping low across the ground.
Unable to find fault and we would definitely return.

Lovely quiet site, birds and wildlife. Went with two teens and took our dog, there was lots of space to walk him.
The electric hook up points are quite far from some of the sites, so make sure you have a very long electric cable, but the owners have extensions you can borrow.
Will definitely return.

Been there a lot in the past 3 years but will not be going back. we left 2 nights early as it would be dangerous to stay

Absolutely first rate stay at this campsite. We stayed 3 very peaceful nights. The warden was very friendly and made us very welcome. Other guests were very accommodating.
Price per night entirely reasonable. There are not many facilities but that was absolutely ideal for us as we prefer peace and quiet and don't need much.
It's down a quiet lane and hardly any traffic goes past.
Electrical hookup provided, fresh water, waste disposal and a toilet. That's all we needed!
Can't wait to visit again.
