We stopped here for a few nights on our way back from Eastern France. Turned up without booking but we were given a list of vacant pitches and allowed to choose which we wanted.
It is the largest site we have ever stayed on, but in the third week of August felt quiet. Washblocks were kept clean and were modern though sometimes smelt a bit.
Lots to do in the surrounding area. We are planning to return.

Lovely site next the the river. We stopped one night on the way to Austria. Very friendly welcome and pitch was a good size. Lots of the residents were long term and gave us lots of local information.
Facilities were clean and adequate. We ate at the restaurant on the site which was very good and reasonably priced. They seem to watch your drink and when it was empty it was quickly refilled!.
We wanted an early start and when I explained this to the receptionist she arranged for the barrier to be lowered but not locked.
Site was easy to find and we would recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet site in Luxembourg.

Arrived without booking on our way back home - very helpful at reception - allocated a pitch which was large.
Toilet blocks x 2 - very clean and large.
Had a meal in the restaurant, which was very good value for money.
Mixture of nationalities staying but mostly Dutch which I always take as a good sign. Very reasonable pitch fees.
Would use again for a stopover - very easy access for large caravans once you go over the narrow bridge - but at my time of this review a very large bridge is virtually finished completion next to the narrow bridge - so for next years tourists will be much easier.

We stopped off here on the way south and on the return both for one night.
(A word of warning this is Camping Gritt there is also a site called Um Gritt they are about 13 k apart and I inadvertently hit the wrong one on the sat nav, if you are heading down a Swiss like mountain pass this is the wrong site)
We found the site reception to be polite and helpful, with free wi-fi available.
There is a relaxing walk along the river direct from the site.
I found this to be an ideal stopover location. The site has a new toilet block with excellent showers.
We had a meal on both visits and found this to be good value and filling. Steak salad and a mountain of chips for 12 euro.
There is an old climbing frame, swing and trampoline that the kids used but this did not occupy them for long.
The pitch sizes are smaller but for a stop over this was fine, I would certainly use this site again.
One good thing about Luxembourg is that it was the cheapest fuel I seen between Amsterdam to Spain at 0.998 cents a litre for diesel.

We stayed at this campsite for one night on our way from Zeebrugge to the south of France this year. It is positioned alongside a river and access is over a small bridge (no problem for large units). It is just a short distance from the town and whilst it would be quite a walk it is only 10 minutes by car - although there are some shops and a MacDonald's etc within walking distance.
The reception was a bit off hand but quite relaxed. The site itself was not partitioned at all and it was very typical of foreign caravan sites with little separation. We went out for a coffee and came back and found that we were completely hemmed in with a caravan right across the front of our unit. The only way could we get it out was by using our mover.
Overall whilst it is difficult to say what was wrong with the site I definitely will not be going back and unless you like to be squashed in I would not advise staying.
