We followed directions to the house and pulled into the car park, called into the house and paid fees £10 P/N, was given key for site gate(50yds down road) and info for waste etc.Found a level pitch and EHU within a small grassed enclosed area between the busy A6 and fairly busy canal. There's a pub across the road-The Roebuck with a premier inn alongside, also a pub back towards, and just past the house-The Bulls Head. Then further up is a post office and a chippy- £4.10 for fish & chips in a box, nice and very fresh.Back down the road past the site is a turn off to the right which takes you over the canal and to Guys Thatched Village(website) and Old Nells Pub where the beer is cheap and food is available, freebie pizza was soon demolished so get in quick,You can also take a walk down the canal path from here.
The traffic noise took ages to die away and resumed early in the morning so don't expect a good nights sleep, £10 P/N and no toilet / shower seems a bit steep.Would stay again for a night if I had to.
