There is already an excellent review of this site. I would just like to add my few thoughts. The campsite is basic, but nice and relaxing. There was plenty of space to pitch. A very friendly welcome, and invitation to the excellent communal couscous supper. Facilities were very clean and there was always hot water in the showers. There was a good mix of families and adults. A smattering of French would be useful; there was a British reg car there when I was staying, but I didn't meet the people. A couple of miles to the supermarket and the nudist beach. I would like to revisit sometime for a few days. A swimming pool would have made it a 10/10 site.

If you are 'into' all bells and whistles sites then you will not like this place. However that is exactly the reason we loved it, and would return. Set in a very wooded area the site has many pine(?)trees some of which blew down in storms some years ago which has left the site with both open areas for sunbathing and shady for respite. There is a small reception (note, no fee payments on Sundays) which sells ice creams and soft drinks. Dotted around the site are various facilities, all of which were not open when we visited as the site was only one third full. Those that were open were clean and satisfactory. At the bottom of the site is a large building which is used as a function/playroom and also fresh bread is available there daily. Tennis courts. Boules played around site most evenings.
On the Friday evening a mobile crepe van arrived which stayed until about 9pm.
On the Saturday night a communal meal was organised by one of the campers. Great fun and good value. 12 euros for apperitif, half melon filled with port, couscous (never seen such large cooking pots, 4 ft diameter) and ice cream. About 70 people attended. We were the only Brits in attendance and on site.
Lots of interesting things to see and do as very near Carnac and standing stones, megaliths, dolmans etc all around. Lovely local towns and huge naturist beach, (with height barrier, be warned) 3 miles. Bikes would be advantage. Local supermarket 1 mile.
Good value. No pool.
