We stayed at this campsite twice in August 2004 and August 2005, camping on both occasions. The facilities are minimal but very good covering showering and washing facilities in a very clean and tidy block. This also contains plenty of toilets, washing up area, phone, mobile charging points and there is a large covered table area next to it for cooking and eating.

The site is not huge and largely used by climbers through the summer. There are fantastic views of the mountains also around on a clear day. It's a short walk (10minutes) into the centre on Chamonix and all the shops and transport links (rail and bus stations) while the main road for the area runs directly next to the site, but you hardly notice it is there.

If we go to Chamonix again we will definitely go back to the same site.
