Basic Facilities but clean
Terraced pitches, with olives and eucalyptus planted
Cafe with a view over the harbour
Very easy access into Menton, walkable in 10 minutes
Great place to use as a base to explore the cote D'Azure without the expense of some of the more up market sites.
We wento Monaco (of course), Tarbert, Eze, Sospel, Cap D'Antibes. A bit busy along this stretch of road but stunning scenery, and the campsite is a welcome retreat from the bustle going on below
Aso, the campsite is located near the border crsoong into Italy. There's a short tunnel, and you are in Ventimiglia

Beautiful site
Amazing views which are stunning
However the couple that own the site weren't particularly nice when we arrived although we did arrive at about 9.30 at night.
The pitch we had was quite hard but I guess that's what you expect in the south of france in the summer.
It was also very expensive and the showers weren't brilliant either.
Overall I would say its definitely worth at least one night for the view that get

Access is impossible for caravans to Menton campsite due to the hairpin bends and narrow steep access road, signposts to the site can be found in the town centre. Reception closes early, but you just find a pitch and pay next day.
Views of the Mediterranean are beautiful because of the high vantage point the site has.
Layout of the site is in terraces and is mainly occupied by backpackers also there is a youth hostel on the site and the youths can be loud late at night.
The toilet block is basic with no hot water except for the showers
Overall not a site for families or holidays but does well for younger people wanting the Rivera on the cheap.
