 This site is very easy to find, on the main road a couple of miles north of Gap. Access is good and it has good facilities but not all loo and shower blocks were open in September.
It's a good stopover and the area is very scenic, we went for a drive up into the mountains and there was fresh snow on the tops. Downside - the weather was horrible and it was therefore rather off putting. Plus we didn't like the site very much, it has quite a lot of trees but the pitches are not defined, other than with plastic markers (I mistook one of these for a strange animal in the dark). It's also quite sloping and you will need chocks. It didn't seem to be very well drained either, very muddy. I suppose it's ok in the summer.
It accepts Camping Cheques in low season, which was the reason for staying there, but we wouldn't stay here again.
