Stayed for the 3rd time, still much the same, now £18 per night.
The main difference is that there is a large new build house up at the farmyard, this is where the owners now live and where you pay by cash.
There is an area of hardstanding next to the house and the main grass site, where we stayed, a bit further down.
It's on top of a hill so quite well drained.

Lovely quiet site, nicely kept grass, ground slightly undulating but no problems getting level, left alone to do our own thing but a contact number provided if any problems.
Nice tidy bin, Elsan amd water area, in easy reach of everything we wanted to do with lots of lovely paths and lanes for cycling.
Will definitely revisit

What a great find. A perfect stop over for our journey up to Yorkshire. Smart tidy field with five hook ups. Plums were in season. Friendly welcome. Can't understand why no one has left feedback since 2009! You could hear the A1 in the distance but a peaceful night's sleep. £12 for the night including electric. We will definitely be back en-route up north next time. Great place to start a holiday.

This is a very useful CL, within easy reach of the A1 (about 1 mile), so I think would make an excellent stopover, although we stayed for 4 nights on our way back from the Donna Nook seals. There are 2 separate areas, the field which is a large area by a plantation of young apple trees, and gravel hardstanding by the top farmhouse. We chose the field as we needed to peg down the Sky tv tripod (very important!) Upon arrival we were greeted by the owner, Mr. Paddy Ivens who gave us a handy map and list of places of interest etc. After that, we were left alone which is how we like it.
We found a cheap eating pub, Chequers at Orton Wistow, next to the Hot Box takeaway which is on the list we were given. This pub also has a pool table and sky tv. Tesco is not far (also on the list), Peterborough centre about 3 miles. If you intend to go to Flag Fen Bronze Age Centre, check the opening dates as it was closed when we went there.
As the farm is a pick your own fruit farm in season, it has a toilet and play areas near the main house. You pay for the caravan site at the house opposite the CL field. As the name suggests, it's up a hill so no danger of flooding and all in all a good site for £8 per night.
