We are just back from spending the bank holiday weekend here. We originally wanted to book the Friday beforehand too but couldn't get leave from work. The owner Kate was very obliging and let us change our days accordingly. It was £12 without electric, I'm not sure if it was more with electric or not.
The site has no facilities except for the CDP which is just how we like it. This means that its quiet. We had our own shower and toilet, grey waste can be deposited at tree bottoms and we took our rubbish back with us. We were allowed to use our wood stove but open fires or fire pits are not allowed.
This is quite local to us so we sort of knew the area but not the surrounding small villages so it was nice to look around locally. We highly recommend the Badgers Emporium on the A252.
The site is perfect, I am surprised there's so few reviews on here for it but then again I can understand people wanting to keep it secret. In one direction you have views of the orchard trees, nicely kept flat grass areas with the trees dotted about. The owner has paddocks of black sheep/goats(?), horses and a pig sty with really cute pigs who seem to like racing each other. Felt quite bad eating bacon and sausages during our stay.
In the other direction you look out over fields and this seems to be where the sun sets, we pitched our tent with the door facing these fields. There is a water tap right in the middle of the orchard which is where the hook up is so if you need electric you would be in that area. We didn't need it so we pitched right on the edge of the orchard in the corner, well away from everything and it felt like we were there alone. There were only 3 other units, a campervan, a caravan and a trailer tent.
Despite really terrible wind and rain, once the rain stopped the ground felt fine so no bogginess.
You drive your car to the pitch, set up and then leave your car at the entrance parking area. This makes it really peaceful and relaxing.
I think we will go again for a short break but are looking to go further afield once we are more confident (this was our 2nd time camping) but this is now our blueprint for campsite expectations elsewhere. I wont be satisfied unless it comes up to the standards here.

We've stayed here a couple of times and I can only echo the sentiments of the previous review.
This is a little gem that you want to keep to yourself but the hosts, Kate and Alan and their daughter, Megan, deserve widespread praise. It's a peaceful, beautifully kept site with a few hook-ups and fresh water supplies plus chemical disposal. Park up among the fruit trees and relax.
It's a nice touch that they don't allow vehicles in the orchard except for parking caravans - there's space in their drive to leave your car - and there's a spot for motorhomes near the entrance.
So kick off your shoes, enjoy the feel of the lush grass between your toes and watch the antics of the sheep, pigs and chickens in their fields.
There's a nice walk up through the surrounding orchards and Perry Woods to the Rose and Crown pub but there's not much else nearby - love it.

This is one of those sites which you consider never revealing to anyone as it is so quiet and peaceful, that you want to keep it to yourself; but it was mentioned in Camping magazine a couple of months ago so I thought that any 'damage' had probably already been done. This is a fantastic, well-kept site with just two electric hook-ups and a CDP. There are no showers or toilets, and no plans to install any in the future, either. If, like us, you crave tranquillity and are not afraid to improvise in the depths of your tent with a bowl of hot water and a sudsy flannel, then this is the place for you. In addition, at the right time of the year you can come away with plums and greengages from the orchard and spend the winter eating home-made jam to remind yourself of your holiday. The owners are friendly and helpful and Kent has a wealth of walks to enjoy. One of our best holidays ever - can't wait to return.

Went there for a couple of days for a relaxing weekend
And that's exactly what we got.
The owners are really friendly people who are very helpful.
The campsite was very neat and tidy.
And I like the no cars on campsite policy as it adds to the tranquil setting not to have the sound of car engines.
Single lane to site but is easy to get there as road isnt busy at all.
Surrounding area is very pretty.
