 Friendly welcome, efficient and personable site manager.
Well maintained and spaced pitches.
Clean facilities and quiet surroundings.
I would recommend this site and visit again.

A fantastic site with great pitch, great location, good facilities and wonderful welcome!
This small site is in a quiet area on the small road that runs parallel to the coast, main coast road and tram between Bredene and De Haan. It is a 10 minute walk to the beach and tram stop and 30 minute walk into busy Bredene where there are several supermarkets and many shops, restaurants etc. The site is surrounded by other campsites, houses and on one side a young person's holiday centre. The area was usually quiet. During the week we were there however one night there was very loud dance music from somewhere close by until 3. 30am! Another night the loud disco and shouting from the holiday centre went on till past midnight.
The facilities were spotless and ample. Showers were hot and activated by pre pay card - 8 euro lasted us both the week. I don't think ever had to queue even though site was full. As usual in Europe toilet paper isn't provided. The pitches have EHU as well as own water tap and drain which was very useful. The pitch was good size, flat and in immaculately maintained.
We spent most days at the beach. The beach is fantastic with lovely clean sand, plenty of space, lifeguards on duty, toilets (50cents but clean) and reasonably priced cafes. The beach can only be accessed by taking one of the bridges or tunnels to cross the road and get through dunes. We tried the closest (turning left out campsite) next closest (turning right out of campsite) and the bridge in Bredene. The facilities are very similar in all places but the closest seemed nicest and quietest!
We also drove to Blankenberge one day it rained. This large very busy town has far more of a commercial feel. Whereas De Haan (a couple stops on tram) was more upmarket and had pleasant feel although most of the beach is divided into private paid for sections, but the free area was fine if not as clean as the beach close to the campsite.
Overall I'd recommend, just a shame about the couple of noisy nights which were out of control of the lovely campsite manager.
