 A two-star campsite 300m from a good bathing and surfing beach, about 2 miles from Guidel town (hypermarket, lots of shops, restaurants etc., one mile from Guidel Plages (restaurants, sheltered beach) and one mile from Fort Bloques (restaurants, mini-market etc).
The owners speak quite good English, and are friendly enough, but perhaps not as laid-back as some. The pitches are simply laid out, without hedged borders, and many are on a slight slope. We paid €25.00 a night for a caravan pitch with hook-up for four adults, which I though was reasonable. An awning mat is vital as the ground is quite thistly.
It has quite a lot of mobile homes, and I think quite a few of the tiring caravans are there for the summer.
It has a bar, shop and a fair swimming pool. We didn't eat in the bar, but it seemed very popular, and the shop sells bread, milk and essentials.
Attractions include the surf, lots of local artists' galleries and canoeing up the River Laita from Guidel Plages.
Overall a good place to stay.
