 Lovely campsite. A bit of a tight squeeze between trees for a very tall motorhome.

The shower and toilets were kept absolutely spotless at all times by the exceptionally dedicated cleaner.

 This site is in a lovely area but has been having large works conducted for approx 4years. The pitches are uneven and vary in sizes. In heavy rain with all the large lorries and machinery this was nothing shirt of a mud bath.

The touring pitches have been badly neglected to concentrate on placing more static caravans. One newish toilet block for the entire site/ Safety is also an issue with warning signs up about workmen wandering around the site.

Everything was closed low season except the TV room but this was extremely dangerous. Rain wsa pouring through the roof and it appeared to have been in that state for some time. The TV didn't work. Internet access was also gained occasionally in the same room!

That said, I should imagine it could be quite a different site in the summer months due to its location. It is definitely best avoided in winter and particularly whilst the work continues.
