 Well situated site short walk to the beach and small town of San Pedro de Moel, and pine forests on the other side.
Pitches not designated so have to drive around looking for space to set up, it was busy in August. Pitches are sandy and several motor homes had to be pulled out of the sand by tractor! We parked our VW van two wheels on the road to prevent this happening and found a good sized area to pitch for the week.
Well stocked shop, bar, restaurant (used once but do not recommend). Clean facilities, good hot showers, loo roll provided outside of cubicles.
We had bikes and enjoyed cycling on bike paths along coast to other beaches which all had nice beach cafes.
Sea in this stretch of Portugal is rough and freezing - only our youngest (10) was brave enough to stay in for more than a few minutes! Most beaches have fresh water inlets running into sea where younger children played.
Pool was very busy on some days (with people from off site it seemed) and we didn't use much.

This site is in a pine forest on the edge of the lovely Sao Pedro de Moel. Most pitches are unmarked and are located amongst the trees therefore all sizes of unit can be accommodated including our 28 feet long motorhome. The toilet facilities in the block we used were basic but OK. No toilet seats or paper which seems to be the norm in Portugal. The site has a large pool with a waterslide. There was a large bar area with live entertainment at the weekend. The walk into Sao Pedro is downhill and takes about 10 minutes. The beach is beautiful with big waves crashing into the rocks nearby. Not a great range of restaurants but we found one where we could dine outside with the ocean waves below us.
