Site is compact and very tight and my caravan is only 7. 2m. Pitches are gravel and nearly level BUT there is a five inch kerb to get up, took 5 blokes and the mover to get up. Had a large pitch and was charged €2 extra a day for it, it was the smallest pitch we have ever been on. Ablutions are good and clean, wifi also good but not cheap. With ACSI 5kw of electricity is free. Dogs not allowed anywhere on the site. Definitely not a site for caravanners. Would avoid in future.

Located very close to Calpe town centre so very handy for Motorhomers and each pitch has its own tap and grey water drain.
The toilet blocks appear newly refurbished and immaculate as was the swimming pool, there is also a small bar on site and fresh bread and British newspapers available at reception. The site manager speaks very good English as does the receptionist and were very helpful and friendly.
Calpe is a mixture of old and new with the older part of the town situated on a hillside and the new buildings near the sea, there are a number of cafe's, bars and supermarkets within walking distance of the site and a huge street market is held every Saturday on the street behind the campsite which is worth visiting. Also Lidl on Called Rumania close by.
The beach is also 5 minutes walk from the site and there is also a good view of Calpe Rock which is a major landmark and dominates the skyline. The port area is 15 minutes walk from the site along a beautiful promenade with lovely views, best restaurants in the town can be found here, Menu del dia from 12€. We loved the town and the campsite.

Booked in to calpemar for 2 nights and stayed for 5 months fabulous site staff are brilliant. The town and beech are just a short walk away with a vast choice of restaurant's and bars. The site has a pool and bar cafe which hosts a music night every Thursday a great chance to have a boogie ! Would stay again

Stayed here for 5 days on our way down to Andalucia on a month long trip. Absolutely loved it. So much so that we arranged to stay for a couple of days on the way back at the beginning of September. Didn't book, just turned up, and stayed for over a week. Loved the site, loved CALPE and are now returning every year. Thinking of trying Christmas this year in Calpe.
The site is clean, well organised and has that welcoming feel as soon as you arrive. The pitches are a good size with great facilities. And there are well placed, immaculate toilet and shower blocks.
Reception staff speak perfect English and go the extra mile to please. Pool is immaculate and the pool bar serves great snacks.
A walk into Calpe town is a delight, eat at 'Oscars'. Brilliant!
Camping Calpemar is in the top 5 sites I have visited.

We booked in for 3 nights and ended up staying for 10 nights as we liked the site and the facilities that much, it is located very close to Calpe town centre so very handy for Motorhomers and each pitch has its own tap and grey water drain.
The toilet blocks were newly built and immaculate as was the swimming pool, there is also a small bar on site and fresh bread and British newspapers available at reception. The site manager speaks very good English as does the receptionist and were very helpful and friendly.

The beach is also 400 yards from the site and there is also a good view of Calpe Rock which is a major landmark and dominates the skyline.
We will definitely return in 2010
