There is something very special about this site, perhaps it is the silence (except for sounds of nature), perhaps it is because it is so tucked away and yet only a couple of minutes walk to the great pubs (and little shop) at Wisborough Green, perhaps it is something that can't be defined in words.
My young son and I spent 2 nights here in July and went home feeling totally refreshed and relaxed.
It is a very basic site but has a flushing loo block (bring your own loo roll). It would benefit from several more rubbish bins, including segregation for 'landfill' and 'recycling'.
The owner is lovely and very friendly, willing to help in any way.
I can't recommend this site highly enough for a really relaxing break.

We were very pleased to find vacancies at this site, for a last minute weekend away at a popular time of year. Owner was very friendly on the phone and up front about the fact that it is just a basic site - grass field with toilet block. Please note, no showers.
Prices were very reasonable indeed and there is a laid back approach to booking, pitching and paying. Plenty of room to pitch, and ample space for children to roam free.
Wisborough Green is a lovely village with a decent Post Office/shop, a couple of pubs and children's playground by the cricket green. All this within 5-10 mins walk of site; a nice place to while away a sunny afternoon. Fishers Farm Park is also very close by and it a handy location for attractions in Sussex.
The site is quite new and we feel that it would benefit from some work. We were happy to accept 'basic' facilities, but less happy to come across odds bits of broken glass and rusty metal. The waste water drain was too full to use, as was the wheelie bin for rubbish disposal. And no sign of loos being cleaned during the 24 hours we were there.
We didn't see the owner until 10pm, when she came round to check everything was OK and take payment.
