Good shade during the hot weather.
Plenty of separation between units.
Friendly on arrival.
Good location next to the river.
There could be significant improvement with the waste/septic disposal, the only issue that lets the site down although it was functional. Perhaps being a bit picky!
Enjoyed the stay, peaceful and not plagued by insects.

Stayed for 5 nights.
Nice site, peaceful and next to river Avon. Taps close to pitch, chemical disposal, bit of a walk. Fairly priced. Electricity not metered.
Warden was very friendly.
There is a road behind the site but not too busy. You cannot walk any where from the site as the road has no foot paths.
Enjoyed our stay although weather not that good.

Very well organised, Mark was very helpful.
Grass cut short, good water pressure, plenty of room, (especially if others park sensibly),
Close to river, (fishing),
Wi-fi a bit hit and miss and T. V. Poor.
Brilliant site to tour midland attractions, (Stratford, Warwick, Coventry, etc. ),
Would highly recommend.

Lovely little site overlooking the river Avon.
Ideally located for a nice walk into the village and close to Stratford upon Avon which we visited.
Would definitely recommend this site. Mark was very helpful and friendly

I thought this campsite was a little gem of a site. A 5 van site which is what we like but there was lots of room between vans so not squashed or overlooked, huge pitches which you can pitch your van any which way you like to get the best views. The pitches were not riverside but you could still see the passing boats.
Lovely walk along the country road, not too far if you have children, and all of the cars that passed us did with respect. Take a right before the Cottage of Content pub and you walk adjacent to the river into Bidford on Avon where there is a park alongside the River for children to have a kick about and dogs to do their stuff.
The bridge in Bidford was a bit quirky, really narrow so only wide enough for one car and there are passing places along the bridge for people to step into when the traffic is passing, never seen that before.
We were really surprised that the campsite was not full for the whole weekend we were there, there were 4 vans on the Friday and Saturday and only two vans on the Sunday, then by around 10am on the Monday we were the only ones there. Bliss.
There were no facilities on this site but that did not bother us as we have our own.
Perfect site and will definitely be back.

Just had a pleasant couple of nights here. Level pitches across the drive from the moorings, good access to EHU and tap in the centre of the row; bins at the exit and elsan point at the far end. Nicely mown and stood up to some torrential rain well, although the warden told the OH that it is underwater in flood periods! Lovely spot although some road noise.
Lots of wildlife, some sort of raptor power struggle going on and owls hunting at night! Direct access to the river so you would need to have any small children firmly under control. 5 mins walk to the Cottage of Content pub which was doing a good choice of takeaway food when we visited (you can eat it in a marquee in their garden, which also has a campsite) and has some excellent ales and ciders.
Nice walk across the fields to Bidford on Avon with more pubs, takeaways and shops plus a big play area with plenty to interest older kids and picnic tables by the river or a quick drive to Welford in the other direction.
Great location for access to Stratford or the Cotswolds, several National Trust properties and gardens within 20 mins drive.

Cracking site, on the banks of the Avon. Nice level pitches, I think 16 amp. Lovely walks from site, a bit of road in both directions as you start but no problem. Mark the warden was very helpful.
Walking distance from local pub but not tried personally. Nice level walk to Bidford-on-Avon. Went to the Royal Shakespere theatre on Saturday evening to watch the reverse gender Taming of the Shrew, brilliant! Surprisingly plenty of tickets for Saturday night.
