 Five years on from the last review, the site is now well established and is still a welcome oasis for any camper.
The British owners have developed the site beautifully, the pool was built but sadly has been damaged by recent floods, they were working on repairs now.
Toilets / showers are top quality, all pitches have water taps and ehu. There is a small restaurant and bar on site, closed in winter but opening again next week. Free wifi available around the site. Pitches are on grass perfect for summer - if it has been wet then pitching on the gravel roads. Washing machines and driers are available. There is of course Chem disp. There are plenty of beautiful walks in the Bulgarian countryside from outside the gate of the campsite.
The village is less than 5 minutes walk, several bars and small shops - everyone is very welcoming. Veliko Tarnovo town is about 20 km away, a taxi costs £4 and is the easier way to get there.
This is a fabulous site, nothing is too much trouble for Nick and Nicky, would recommend this for a couple of nights or weeks. We went for a night and stayed a week.

An oasis in a country with limited campsites. Well structured with top grade facilities, welcoming staff excellent well priced food, not long established so some of the pitches are still settling. New swimming pool being constructed in 2011 so we were told, this would be an added bonus in Bulgaria's summer heat. Well placed to visit a lot of Bulgaria's tourist attractions. Will definitely revisit on the way back to the uk next year
