This is the third time we have stayed at this site. The previous times were in 2008 when we had a large motor home. This time we had a twin axle caravan. We knew the pitches were on the small side but we had forgotten just how small! The site was virtually empty when were there so we had our pick of suitable sites. The problem was we struggled to find one we could get onto. They are crammed in together with very tight access and most have trees in the way. In fact there are a lot of trees there which also means the pitches are all in the shade most of the time -not great if you like sunbathing. We eventually found one pitch we could get onto (with great difficulty even with a motor mover ) but it was very uneven and we had problems Un-hitching and when hitching up to leave. If the pitch opposite us had been occupied we would have been stuck. This site is definitely more suitable for single axle caravans with a motor mover or motor homes. Our advice would be don't go there with a twin axle caravan. I also found the showers were not very warm. On the plus side the staff are really friendly and the supermarket, shop, restaurant and pool are fantastic.

Touring as a couple my husband and I arrived without a reservation. We found the chap on the reception to be extremely helpful and friendly, we were booked in quickly and easily and allowed to walk around to choose our own place. It seems possible to pre book pitches as some were labelled to indicate availability of the pitch. Some pitches have a lot of shade, whilst others have dappled shade. The camp site is set in what can only be described as a botanical garden, the palms and vegetation is lush, as well as having an abundance of flowers. Its extremely well maintained and tidy. The vast amount of foliage seems to prevent noise from carrying very far Pitches are of a decent size and have sinks which was handy, though the water was salt, there are spring water taps also around the site.

As with all sites on this coast the railway runs alongside the beach, however train noise was hardly noticeable and not an issue. The beach was clean and sandy, Whist we were there the sea was slight so good for little ones. The beach is literally next to the site, an easy walk, though a trolley is handy!

Good swimming pool area, with a super set up for very little ones and a sectioned off slide pool for up to about 12 year olds. Swim up bar, lots of sun beds as well as a grassy area.

The showers were superb! Large cubicles, amazingly powerful and hot. Nice and clean.

Very well stocked supermarket, not too expensive so you could buy food and drink if you didn't want to go off site.

We used the takeaway once which was fine, and had a very nice dinner in the restaurant as well.

The evening entertainment was fun, and took place at the amphitheatre at the top of the site.

We drove and parked easily in Barcelona for a day (choose a Sunday though!)as well as Tarragona. Its a nice unspoilt bit of coast.

We had a perfect stay here and will return I am sure. I can imagine it could get very busy at the height of the season, arriving in late June/early July meant everything was open and operational, but the site wasn't full.

The security was good and we found all the staff to be very friendly.

This site is fantastic. Everyone is so helpful and friendly, the pitches are great.

The planting all over the site is amazing we have friends that go every year in their words they have to 'visit eden'. Every thing is clean well maintained.

Each pitch has a sink. Not sure about high season, it may be very busy. The pool is brilliant the beach is great, the food is great, there are bars entertainment and comfort.

Dogs are welcome there is even a dog shower.

The beach is a grey area but dogs are allowed in the bars, restaurants, not in the pool area though. This has to be one of my favourite sites.
