We stayed here for a few days after Easter. Fantastic site. Clean facilities, serviced pitches and a friendly owner. Close to many of the attractions the North Coast has to offer - Giant's Causeway, Dunluce Castle, beaches at Portrush and Portstewart. Well behaved dogs are accepted, and there is a nearby beach or country road to walk them. There is a small playpark which seemed to be well used by the children on the site. Use of showers requires a token, but is well worth it!

Fantastic site which is about 2 miles from Portrush and very close to White Rocks Beach (for surfing). The site is also about 10 minutes walk to the Royal Court Hotel for food and drink. The site has very clean toilets and showers and a very friendly and helpful owner (David McKenzie. I would highly recommend this site to anyone looking for a laid back and quiet site as there was virtually no noise after about 9pm. The owner does not take bookings via the Internet as he would prefer to talk to people over the phone.

Having stayed in the area at Easter we took the opportunity to drive around other sites to decide which ones we liked, this was one of them.
We have just returned after a 3 night stay and we were very impressed, as previously stated, David the owner is very friendly and most helpful when you arrive by helping you out. Indeed throughout our stay he was also around the site and always took time to speak to you.
The showers and toilets were spotless and very well maintained (soft toilet roll!) in the showers there is a mop left to clean after you use and people seemed to use it. There is a family / disabled shower room with toilet large shower and whb. Showers take token and you certainly got plenty of time.
The site was very well maintained and although the playpark is small it keeps children entertained,
Very close to all the amenities of the North Coast. We certainly will return again in the future and would recommend to all.

This is a well run, clean and tidy, small site that takes touring caravans, no statics. David the owner is very helpful, he gives you a hand getting your caravan onto the pitch when you arrive and nothing is too much trouble for him.
The site is being constantly updated, there have been changes made every year, most recent being central heating in the toilet/shower block, which is kept very clean. The showers are operated by tokens, last summer they cost 50p.
There are good dish washing facilities.
Most of the pitches are hardstanding on gravel, which need strong pegs for awnings and a lot of them are fuly services with EHU, water and drainage. There are a few which are hardstanding with grass to the side.
There is a concrete area that is used mostly by motorhomes.
Some sites are used for seasonal pitches.
There is a room that has a pool table and table tennis table, also there is a large grassy area for the kids to play ball games.
Some noise can be heard from the nearby road, during the day, but we don't notice it now.
The Whiterocks beach, which is terrific, is very close, you could walk to it, although the road into it is very steep. It is used a lot by surfers and has outdoor shower facilities in the car park. There are a number of great beaches within a few miles of the site, some you can drive your car onto and park.
A short drive takes you into the small town of Portrush and a bit further to Portstewart. There are good shops in both towns, especially for ice cream and also a good variety of resturants. Also the larger towns of Coleraine and Ballymoney are within easy reach, both have large supermarkets, Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury.
Because of where Ballymacrea is situated you need to use you car to get about, but it is not far from the main attractions of this beautiful part of N. Ireland.
A lot of events take place, in the area, the biggest one is the NW200 motorcycle races which are held in May. There is also an airshow in September. Boating events, a raft race, various forms of entertainment and fireworks displays are also held during the summer months.
