Lovely, peaceful site. Staff were very helpful, facilities were clean, nice restaurant,

By a decent beach,

You can order croissants and bread for the morning.

Has everything you need, plus it's only a short free bus ride into Dunkirk.

Only downside is that the pool is very small, more for young children.

We had a fantastic stay. The main reasons we booked this site was because its out side of the Brussels LEZ zone and not far to catch the bus in.

The staff were super friendly and even printed us a bus time table out, facilities were good and spotlessly clean and we had a fantastic stay.

It was nice to be surrounded by country side after days in the busy city.

If were ever staying near Brussels again we would definitely stay here.

This site is on the edge of the countryside in a small village, with the main town about 20 mins walk away.

There are many static and long-term pitches but they are in a separate area.

The touring area of the site is a large gently sloping field with some shade around the edges, although not much. Toilet, washing up and laundry facilities were okay, but it's a strange set up in a kind of basement.

Incredibly, you have to pay 1 Euro for about 7 mins of hot water in the showers and wash basins which seems a bit of a liberty, given the fact that the pitch fees are not cheap. Also, the door markings for the toilets/showers are a bit confusing, but it's a mixed up world!

All in all, a quiet setting which was clean and functional and even though it's in a rural location, it's ideal for a trip into Brussels which is straightforward and involves taking a local bus and the metro system.

Finally, be aware that you can only pay for the site fees in cash.

The Place was great, close to Overijse (within walking distance) next to Fields and farm land with nice views, The Camping area has good and bad points however. The good points are also its bad points as in its out of the way away from the rest of the site's facilities which means a trek across the field (nice short flat fresh grass) everytime you need the WC or a shower etc but its also quieter there and away from vehicle's. It would be nice if the Path continued around the edge of the Field so you didn't get wet feet on the early morning dew or if its recently been raining.

The occasional Planess fly over from Brussels airport but not so low, there's plenty of wood pigeons there too that coo but no cockerels ;) but apart from that its an excellent place very secure and peaceful with friendly staff and a Brilliant toilet, shower and washing area in the center of the site. The sun comes up over the trees and goes across the bottom of the grassed slope and sets behind the trees on the other side where the Tents are. Its great for Motor homes & Caravans also with people from allover Europe staying there. There is electric option and prices are fair considering all.

Its 1 euro in the box on the wall for 5 minutes Hot water in the Shower.

There's a 20 euro deposit on the security card for the barrier at the entrance which you get back when you hand the card back in on departure between 10:00 - 12:00 midday.

I cant remember all the price's but camping without Electric (its available in the WC block anyway) is 18 euros per night. (all includes vehicle plus 2 man tent & occupants with security barrier pass & use of all amenities) although it would be nice if the site had a shop but there is plenty in the town not far away.

There is a small sports area with Table tennis etc at the edge of the washing area and the lush grass field is nice big flat and open.

We stayed for 4 nights and had a nice time and will be visiting here again ;)
