The family who runs the site are just wonderful! They are helpful, polite, and flexible.
Dog friendly, but the owners should kept dogs on leash. Some of them just don’t do it, unfortunately. We kept our dog on the the leash all time.

Stayed here for our first trip of 2022 over the long Easter weekend and was not disappointed.
The site is a family run site on a working farm, all the family help out and you can see the care that the family take in the site.
The facilities were excellent, with a kitchen and laundry available to be used.
Fires are allowed in fire pits and wood is available on site.

This is a great site if you're looking to chill out in stunning surroundings. Admittedly there isn't much to do in the area so you will have to make your own fun but there is plenty of walking and nearby streams for the kids to play in and lots of room on the site for games.
The site itself is made up of 2 areas for visitors wanting hook up and a few fields for tents and vans not needing electric. The pitches are pretty much level and a really good size.
The shower block is only a few years old and is lovely and clean with several toilets and 3 good sized and free showers in both men and women's. There is also a room for disabled or families to use which has a toilet and shower and lots of room. Part of the facilities block is a kitchen with washing up area and washing machine and again everything was clean and tidy.
The owners are really friendly despite being very busy running the farm. We were even visited by one of the young lads from the farm offering a fire pit and logs for a contribution towards his pocket money! We took him up on this and had lovely evening around the fire.
All in all this is a great site with excellent facilities in a truly beautiful location. We will be back!

This is the third time I have stayed at this campsite. I have camped at around a dozen different campsites in Snowdonia, this is the only campsite I have gone back to and is the best by miles.
The pitches are spacious, owners are lovely, facilities were replaced a few years ago and are excellent and the views and walks in the area are amazing.
The men's and ladies facilities each have 3 toilets, 2 showers and 3 sinks, there is also a disabled toilet and washroom. There is a kitchen with sinks, free to use hobs and fridge/freezer and separate coin operated washing machine and tumble dryer.
The campsite is located below the Nantlle ridge, this can be accessed from the campsite. The slate trail also goes near the campsite. It's also near to Snowdon. Various towns for shops and eating places are not far away.
At £10 per night per person with a little extra for EHU it's a bargain, the best campsite I've stayed at and I've camped at many places all over the UK and in France.

This must rank as one of the best campsites in the UK, and we have visited many.
The setting is beyond beautiful and the facilities are of the very highest standard. The site is spacious and well laid out. Wherever you look the views are magnificent.
From here you can enjoy Snowdonia, but also some of the best beaches in N. Wales are easily accessible.
The couple who run the site are so helpful and friendly. We wish them every success.
We aim to become regular visitors!

Stayed here as we were doing the slate trail.
Excellent facilities at this site, more than I expected, there is a Hob and kettle for any backpackers/ campers to use in the kitchen, showers are free and very clean, also a large amount of room to move around in, washing machine, dryer and fridge freezer if needed.
They allow fire pits which is a bonus, owners really friendly.
Definitely be going back.

I've joined the site just so I can review this brilliant little campsite. Lovely location a few minutes from Rhyd Ddu, which makes a fantastic base for walking and rock climbing in the area, including the Nantlle Ridge.
The site itself is in a quiet location, and has perfect flat pitches. The shower block is sparkling clean and fitted out to an exceptionally high standard.
I almost don't want to tell you about it in case you spoil it, but the friendly, accommodating owners deserve to do well. Please treat this site with the respect it deserves!

Great site. New toilet and shower block. Fantastic views. Good price per night.
Great walks from the site, snowdon, and nantlle ridge. The site is set in a valley surrounded by mountains on 3 sides with the 4th side views down the valley of the farm, lake and beyond.
The farm is full of wildlife and you can hear the owls at night. When you look out your caravan windows there's a view every direction.
