Beautiful site, very welcoming and helpful owners.

Easy walk to the village and local amenities, central to lots of places to explore, great walks and cycling.

We will definitely be returning.

I totally agree with what has been said. This is really an idyllic site. There isn't much shade unless you pitch up against the trees but the size of pitch is big. The stream running through the site gives it a truly picturesque feel and as has been said a lovely and peaceful setting for a campsite. ACSI accepted and so 14euros a night is really good.

There is a small cafe/bar on site and reasonable prices for beer and food. Bread can be ordered for the next day at reception.

There are two toilet blocks but one was closed when we were there and the one that was open was clean and well looked after. The showers were hot and fairly spacious.

We were there out of season and were well looked after by the owners who insist on showing you around on arrival. They give you a special key to open the security gate to get in. A 20 euro deposit is required to get it.

All being said its a lovely peaceful site not far from the auto route, good for a one night stop or take a longer stay and explore the delights of the Lozere.

Used this site as an overnight stop on the way back up from Spain, close to the A75 so it was ideal. Booked in swiftly with reception who were really friendly and told to take any pitch we liked as the site was quite empty. We picked one in the middle which had plenty of sunshine as we knew due to the 950m altitude it was most likely going to be chilly in the morning, we were not wrong! We stayed hitched up for the night as we were off pretty early, electric and water were close to hand and we were up and running in minutes. The site itself is very, very picturesque surrounded by pine trees and has a lovely clear stream running through it, there are two toilet blocks, although one was closed as it was late in the season, the one remaining block is to the rear of the reception and is unisex, we found this to be spotless and very user friendly. There is a Bar and a little Takeaway Hut that served chips etc. And a little marquee that you could sit down and eat your food/drink your beverages etc. There is a swimming pool complex on site with a small circular separate pool for the little ones and a bigger/deeper pool for others, but, once again as it was late in the season they were closed, but it did look well-tended, there is also a little play park and an area set aside for football across the bridge from the touring areas.

In summary a really nice site that we most certainly visit again if we are in the area, certainly a lovely base to explore the area.

Used this site as a one night stop-over on our way south. It is easily accessed from the A75. Friendly and helpful owners and lovely surroundings. There is a small town close by with small supermarket and restaurants. The pitch was very large but did not have any shade so could be uncomfortable in very hot weather, however there were other pitches further back which were shaded by trees. There is a very pretty stream running through the middle of the site. Although we didn't use it the swimming pool looked very inviting and there is a small bar area. The main unisex toilet block was clean but we felt that the smaller block needed some updating. Would use again for a short stay. The site accepts the ACSI card and we thought it good value at 14 Euros.

A fantastic camping. Very friendly people, who will go to great lengths to make things as pleasant as possible for you. Super beautiful surroundings! Plenty of fantastic walking on your doorstep. A fine camping where we shall certainly return. We went to the Galier for the firSt time last year. We had a wonderful time. Our children of 7 and 4 loved the swimming pool, and play area, lovely and clean. The site is very beautiful, and family orientated. It was a real pleasure.
