It was a lovely place to visit and they happily opened the reception to get some ice cream on a hot day!
They were friendly and helpful willing to assist you with your needs or that of the group.
Gave suggestions about where to go and what happens around the area

Lovely site. Choice of wood or open field.
Extremely reasonable at £15 per night per 2 man tent plus £1. 50 per night for dog. Firewood is, again extremely well priced at £10 for a 3 bag deal, easily 3 nights worth.
Nice people running it too!
The only slight negative is the road noise but you really do forget it's there.
Would definitely return.

Stayed at T&J motel and campsite in a 10 man tent for my birthday bank holiday weekender with friends, family and 2 dogs.
Really enjoyed our stay!
There is a playground which has a basketball net and lots to play on.
The facilities are good and clean, there's a washing up area right near the ehu field as are the shower blocks.
There's a small woodlands to walk through which is nice to walk along.
The site staff are very helpful and friendly, we felt welcomed straight away.
WILL DEFFO HE RETURNING SOON! 😊
Thank you for a lovely 3 days and fun memories 😍

We arrived late on the Friday night and reception was closed. However we rang the bell and the owner was more than happy to come down and greet us.
We stayed at the field to the rear of the site, and it was nice that we could have a camp fire, where at other sites these were not permitted. We chose this site as it is mid way between Bewl Water and Bedgebury Forest, both excellent sites for walking or cycling.
The shower blocks were very basic but the water was hot.
All round a good place to stay for £10 per night, a nice play area included for young children!

A very relaxed campsite without too many rules.
The site is situated along the A21, so you can hear the traffic, although it didn't bother us at all.
Open fires are great, but you'll need to bring your own wood, as the site doesn't sell any, and there wasn't much fallen wood around.
The ground is quite uneven in places, and there is a slope, but we were able to find a suitable place to pitch.
The woods offer good shelter from the wind, and Bewl water is only 15 minutes walk away.
Facilities are basic, and could do with upgrading. There is only a cold tap at the washing up sink and the toilets and showers are a bit tatty.
There is a laundry room and a playground to keep the kids entertained.
Nearest shops are in Hawkhurst (6 miles) with a budgens (open 'til 10, closed sundays), a butchers and a take away place. There's a camping shop further down the A21, which is very well stocked.
Nearest pub 1.3 miles South.
Not bad. A good weekend get away.

Arrived late Friday with very little notice as was looking for campsite that allows campfires. Loads of space, some nice little spaces in the woods or on open fields. Lots of fire pits. Wood not supplied but found general store in Hawkhurst (10 mins away) was well stocked and had well priced kindling and log bags. A campsite where everybody is left to get on with it is very refreshing, too many rules these days. Toilet block is very basic and a bit scruffy but what do you need when you're campfire camping. There is a large play park if you have kids. The reception shop seemed to have basic food/drink supplies. The only down side is closeness to the busy A21 but after a while you don't notice! £10 per night is good value albeit very basic. Enjoyed very much despite the rubbish August weather!
