Wonderful site with friendly staff and good facilities. Having just read the post on here from 2012 I thought I'd better update people on this site.
This is the second trip to this site, we went 2021 as well, during covid and everything was perfectly handled and spotlessly clean.
Same this year, easy booking, online or over the phone they have English speaking staff. Good pool, indoors and outdoors, with slides and separate children's pool. 2 play areas, one for bigger kids and one for smaller ones.
Not noisy, we went in August both times. The children were 7, 5 and 2. We had no problem letting the older 2 go to the park by themselves as it was only 200yrds away from our mobile.
They have some very big mobile homes with 4 beds and 2 bathrooms, so ideal for larger families.
There is a small shop, bar and restaurant on site.
Bike hire is also available.
Please discount the previous report on this site as obviously a lot has changed in recent years.

Arrived at Camping Domaine De Beaulieu following 10 days of heavy rain in the Loire Valley. The sun came out as we neared the site and shone down on us for the whole of our stay.
Staff went out of their way to answer questions and help us. It cost them nothing but made us feel we were valued as visitors.
Pitches are large and well defined, with hedges defining the area. We could set up in any way we wanted within the space available.
The whole site was well maintained, the toilet blocks were clean and welcoming. The innovative hexagonal design was very well laid out.
Recreation was well catered for; pools, both indoor, outdoor, Jacuzzi & slide were manned by life guards. There are plenty of sun loungers & parasols for members of the Soleil Cult! Tennis, Boules and children's play area were available.
There is a small bar & restaurant, though we didn't sample the fare. There's evening entertainment in the high season.
Supermarkets were a 5 minute drive, or short bike ride away. The beach is similarly within walking distance.
What's not to like! We will return.

Probably the noisiest campsite on earth! Large groups of French youths and young adults allowed to pitch together in very large groups - hence nobody got any sleep until about 3 am. Have now visited this site twice 2011 & 2012 and this has not improved. These large & very noisy groups were mixed in with families of all nationalities. They started drinking lager with breakfast and got noisier and noisier. Owners don't seem to have rectified this problem from 2011 as loads of people complained about this then (French & English).
A big shame as this could be a really nice campsite - with a small amount of care! Loose paving stones on entering pool, pool never seemed to open on time and closed at 7 pm, people attached to the site pushing children out the way whilst they were being chased around the pool. There was also a mouse problem - didn't see any pest control rectifying this problem whilst we stayed here. Rude reception staff who seem to like to shout at us when we reported a noise problem! Very nice bar staff who kindly put the England football match on for me.
Stayed with Direct Camping in a pre-erected tent -this was shabby, run down and stuck out like a sore thumb compared to other companies pre-erected tents. Would never ever stay in one of these again - am taking my own tent next year as it is habitable.
The surrounding area is absolutely gorgeous, beeches well looked after and very clean - an absolute gem.
Will definitely be visiting this area again, but definitely will not be doing it at this campsite.
