 Friendly welcome, told we could choose a pitch, . Site very quiet, chose a large pitch with shade.
Pool was excellent, bar and restaurant were closed.
Toilets/ facilities really 5 star, best I have ever seen.
One problem, as we watched others in caravans leaving the site we noticed some caught the rear end of the van on the road as they drove over the gully near reception.
Friends left before us and their caravan “bottomed”.
When we left I drove very very slowly but still managed minor damage.
I think the shorter continental vans would be ok, my 7. 3 m van didn't make it.
We saw the storage guys “bottom” a couple on the way out.
Loved the site, but will not return, not worth the risk.

Well located site, less than 1500m from town centre. This campsite was almost completely Dutch when we visited. We were given a choice of pitches and initially the site seemed quite crowded and noisy but as we settled in we found we enjoyed the atmosphere. It was perfectly peaceful at night. Pool area with bar, restaurant and shop is good. Toilets and showers clean.
Pitches aren't massive and are very close to each other but we found one that was fine for our large motorhome. Electric points can be far away but reception can lend you an extension cable.
We plan to return next year, mostly because of the proximity to L'Estartit itself.

We look for a site that's not too far from town for restaurants / bars / shops for a stroll and close to a dog beach. There are very few in Spain but this one fitted the bill. The site is maintained quite well with a small shop, restaurant (never tried it but we were there a little off high season) and a good looking pool. There is adjacent dog walking field and motorhome service area. People were mainly Dutch and British and many look to be there for the winter/spring. Toilet facilities were large and clean but don't have hot water at the wash basins so shaving for gents is a pain. They do pack them in a bit so choose your pitch with care. There is a bar/restaurant opposite and a bus stop to get about.
