We were very much looking forward to staying on this site given the previous reviews but were very disappointed by it.
We arrived just before 4. 00pm and as reception was closed set off to choose a site as instructed.
Although the site was much less than half full we really struggled to find a pitch that was level, near enough to an ehu and fairly near the washrooms (we need close proximity for medical reasons). The ehus were in big boxes of about 20 connections placed fairly randomly around the site. All pitches in the proximity of these were taken and we really struggled to find a pitch that we could use even with our 25 metre long cable. I dread to think what chaos there must be with cables in high season.
Despite advertising a pizzeria and bar neither of these were open and we and 2 other couples who had all expected these had to drive to the village to find a restaurant that was open. One of the things that attracted us to the site was the advertised activities such as regional cooking lessons and music sessions, supposedly available throughout the opening period, but none at all were offered in the 5 days we had intended to stay. I fact there was nothing at all to keep us there so we left after 2 nights, as did one of the other couples we met. I appreciate that we were there in low season but felt very mislead by the fact that facilities that were advertised as a 'selling point' of the site were just none existent.
The people running the site were not at all apologetic or helpful and we left the site feeling very let down.
On the plus side the beach was very beautiful although there was nothing much for us to do there and the toilet/shower block was clean and well cared for.
If you want a beach holiday I would think this would be a great site, otherwise there was little to commend it to us.

Lovely site, with pitches separated by hedges, many with sea views and all pretty level. Sandy soil makes getting the tent pegs in very easy. Facilities are very good and kept clean. Shower tokens are not a problem as you get plenty of time. Shop is basic, but great for breakfast croissants, although the boulangerie in Landeda is worth treking to. Oasis restaurant at camp entrance is very good and does great pizzas to go. Food from the stalls that appear each night is also good.
Best feature is the beach, which you just walk out the campsite too get to. Lots of little islands protect the coast, so it is very safe and fun to explore.
Staff are great and very helpful and speak good English, although most other campers are either French of German.
Sad to go and already planning our return, although this time we'll go via Caen or Roscoff, as the Calais journey took us 10 hours in total!

We picked this campsite rather randomly from our ACSI book on our week long tour visit to Brittany. If we'd found it sooner we probably would have stayed all week!
We arrived during the afternoon when reception was closed, so chose our own pitch and went to reception later to check-in. The pitches are very private and loads have sea views.
Some of the best showers I have seen on a campsite - You have buy a token for (I think 0. 85 euro) but one per day was included in the ACSI price.
There is an entertainment programme, which we didn't take up, but there was a demo of Breton cooking and a local music night when we were there.
There are lots of cycle routes near by, marked with varying degrees of signage. We became distracted by some nice singletrack through some bluebell woods we happened on by chance, and then got completely lost, but managed to get back on track and found our way home.
There is a small supermarket next to the campsite which is open for 2 hours each morning and has a wide selection of products, including fresh bread, and wine and beers.
The sea is lovely and blue (and the beach reminded us of those we'd seen in the Outer Hebrides, but warmer!).
We will certainly visit this site again when we go back to Brittany.

Loved this one. We didn't see many British people on site, there were some French but mostly German visitors who return each year, so it must be good. Very friendly and helpful staff all of them can speak French, English and German. We were given a sea view which was great but it did mean we were on top of the hill and had a bit of a trek to the toilet blocks. Toilets were kept clean and showers were on a token system which costs 80c each. I only used one token each time so they lasted long enough. The shop was good and there is a bar/restaurant but we didn't use it. However we did buy takeways from the visiting vans. They had a different one serving each night with things like, spit roasted chicken, stuffed potatoes, curry, mussles and fries. The entertainments were varied and encouraged a very relaxed atmosphere. The plugging in of electric leads was a bit interesting. The staff come along and plug your cable in for you and the cupboard is then locked. As they don't seem to stick to allocated pitches for EHUs it meant that the staff were constantly hunting for the nearest point. Leads were trailing everywhere and in some cases across roads. A long lead is needed. Also as is the case with Motorhomes, if you needed to unplug to go out the live socket had to be left on the ground. I would recommend this site to anyone who likes direct access to a lovely beach with islands and a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

We stayed in this site at the end of June/July. It is one of the nicest sites that we have stayed on in France (our ages are over 60) It has direct access to the large sandy beach, And it is on the GR34 walking trail around Brittany. Toilet facilities are very good with a token system for the showers (about 2 mins)
It is an isolated campsite so a car is needed for shopping, But there is a small supermarket just outside the camp that is open in the morning for essentials. The nearest village is Landeda (2 Ks) with a small supermarket, Bakery etc. And the nearest towm is Lanillis (5Ks) which has a large L'Eclerce supermarket. There is no pool on the site but there is a small playground for children. Hubert, The owner is a very friendly and social chap, He speaks perfect English and will give any assistance he can to holiday makers. We were in a large touring caravan and the pitches were of a very ample size, On our arrival Hubert told us that if we needed 2 pitches to pitch on he would still only charge us for 1, But we had no need.
The site put on a couple of concerts a week in the large hall and hubert regularly sings at these. There is a small restaurant just outside the site that is not always open but when they are it does take away pizzas, Which can make a nice change.
If it is your intention to ever use this site there is the most wonderful Saturday market just a few miles away in the town of St Renan, Not a market for the tourist but a genuine market for the locals, In fact we went there twice on our trip. All in all we had a marvellous and relaxing holiday here and are looking forward to next year when we are meeting up with new friends that we met on site.
