Not a bad 5 unit site with clean modern shower and toilet facilities at £20/night and in the process of having the site refurbished.
Unfortunately the site runs straight off the main car park and seems to become an overspill car park which makes it less than secure.
On the plus side, the landlord and landlady are welcoming and the natives are friendly. Pleasant pub surroundings with beer garden and child play area.
Site is well sheltered but the use by other patrons of the pub for parking/turning round and dog walk is a concern for security which scores it less.
Local transport connection is good.

At £15 per night this site does not give 'Value for Money'. The Pitches are small and in poor repair. The grass, where it exists is poorly kept.
The toilet and shower are used by the campsite, the chalets and the pub staff. Between the pub and the campsite is a chalet block which appears to be used by white van drivers when working in this area.
Whilst we were on the site these drivers used any vacant bits of ground on the site to park their vans, regardless of how close they were to our motorhome! Most nights we were disturbed by these 'guests' either shouting to each other or revving their vans at one in the morning.
The only positive we found with this site is that there is a bus stop almost outside the pub giving a frequent service to Hunstanton and Kings Lynn.
We would not recommend this site to any one whilst managed as it currently is.

Excellent pitch. Great location. Toilet/ shower facilities are really good. Good playground for children and excellent pubs in the village-queen vic & rose & crown.
We visited Heacham, Hunstanton & old Hunstanton as all so close. South beach in Heacham excellent for dog walking as was old Hunstanton. Only stayed one night but fitted a lot in as the location was so good.

The currant owner took over the Pub/Caravan site 2 years ago & are slowly making changes, the grass is a reasonable level considering time of year, the trees have had a trim but still quite high.
Single toilet with hand basin & heated 24/7 wet room with wc, shower & hand basin-heated 24/7. Both cleaned out daily & kept to a high standard.
New sluice for elsen/grey water to be installed very soon. Nice pub with Hand pulled beers another olde worlde pub in village plus newsagent, post office, cafe, fish & chip shop & chemist. Good bus service to Kings Lynn & Hunstanton (3 per hour) Ideal if you have a pass.
All in all a pleasant little site handy for touring North Norfolk in a nice little village.

On arrival we allocated our own pitch and only seconds after getting out of the car before even pitching the caravan we were welcomed with piles of dog muck, which ourselves and the other party that accompanied us found all over the soles of our shoes, as you couldn't see it for the length of the grass, even the children's play area was the same.
The shower door would not close unless somebody else pushed it from the outside, they were never cleaned whilst we were there (6 days) and we had to provide our own toilet roll after the 2nd day in the single toilet as it had ran out and nobody cleaned or checked them.
Never saw or heard from the owners.

The site wants a lot of work doing to it to start all the hook ups wants the under growth cutting just to get to them to hook up.
The trees round the whole site want cutting back badly as you can not get your motorhome or caravan back to the tree line.
And as from 31aug when digital starts, the trees at the end of the camp site are over 30 feet tall you may not watch TV.
The toilet in the shower is still out of order and it would be nice to have met one of the owners.
The pub is tired and like the camp site, needs a big overhaul

Food was expensive and was not good at all leave well alone eat and drink elsewhere

Nice pub 2mins away top food and beer.

What a wonderful little site. Very friendly people couldn't do enough for us. 1 shower with a toilet and 1 toilet were plenty for this small site which only takes 5 vans.
They were clean with nice hot water at all times. Set in the middle of a beautiful village only a few mins drive from the beach. I would certainly return to this site again if in this area.

This little site is at the back of the pub, and its basic but clean, only 5 pitches all hardstanding, but ample room for caravan, large awning and car to be put side by side.
One single toilet on its own with basin, and next door a shower room in the style of a wet room where you have a level floor with drainage with basin, toilet and shower in the one room - shower is 10/10 although can be hot, so be careful. Unfortunately the toilet in here was out of order on our visit, but you didn't have to queue if you needed the loo in the single one.
Pub staff friendly, you just pitch up and pay, - only observation - could do with a couple of hooks in the shower room for your towel etc, but there was a chair in there as well, so just used that. Also the shower room and separate toilet very warm, so you wont get cold.
Other people there were regulars and its central for kings lynn, and east norfolk. Would go back and use this CL again, this was our first CL and actually was pleasantly surprised.
Dog walk just up the road up a lane and into a couple of fields. Lovely weather. Plus was also surprised at how quiet and little noise you get from the pub as to where the pitches were, had a good weekend.
