Site is fine for a stop-over from the M5; Signage off the road could be better- missed it first time and had to turn round in the village- not easy in a large unit !

Handy for the village shops and pubs and close to the Strawberry Line path.

Facilities are 'so-so' - have seen a lot worse ( but also a lot better)

Owner is very friendly and helpful- really interested in where you're going/been etc

No major issues

All right for a night, did not seem friendly site, Facilities reasonable, strange man followed wife into toilet block. So this gave bad impression of site Near town and Strawberry Line.

When asked to stay owner said doesn't normally take single people, wife was round corner. Maybe I looked bit shabby as left pack on field?

As on long hike stayed one night only, would not want to return

Lovely working farm site, very friendly owners.

Nothing fancy but good, clean, facilities, perfect for us.

10 Minute walk into the village gives 3 pubs, two restaurants, a chip shop, post office, good bakers plus convenience stores.

By taking the Railway Path and turning left towards the church you can do this walk off road.

Ideally situated on the main A370 so no dragging your unit down narrow lanes.

Perfect for Weston super Mare, Bristol and the Mendip Hill and very handy for Bristol Airport. Might be worth staying overnight before flying off and asking about leaving your unit here.

The site also offers Seasonal Pitches and Winter Storage at fair prices.

Ideal stop over site, we stayed for the balloon festival. We had a lovely welcome from Mr &Mrs Sweet on arrival.

We forgot our pre-paid parking permit for entrance to the festival, when we explained this to the owner he arranged for his wife to bring their printer downstairs in the house so we could print out new copies, we were ever so grateful, this was very kind.

The site small but not over crowded, it was very quiet even though there were a lot of pitches occupied. Mostly adults staying, I don't think its the best site for children. Nice walks and cycle paths. You can hear a little aircraft noise but it's quite convenient for Bristol so you'd expect that. The road outside A307 is very busy but not too intrusive. We didn't use their facilities but I did check them out, they are clean but dated. There is a Greek restaurant next door but we didn't get an opportunity to use it, the car park was quite full on the Sunday so I assume it get's trade from the locals. The village of Congersbury (pronounced congsby) is within walking distance with at least 3 nice pubs and a nice looking Indian restaurant. There's a small convenience store and behind the main street a few nice shops.

Overall a very pleasant site, will definitely use again

This is a nice quiet site (as long as you don't mind the sounds of the aeroplanes). Facilities are lovely and clean although the lack of dish- washing facilities is a pain. Showers are hot and free.

We stayed for the weekend In order to cycle down the strawberry line, which is just down the road and so this site is ideal for this.

Owners are friendly but don't seem to like children very much and insisted our visitors with children stayed in the tent.

In short, ideal site for access to cycle trail if you want a quiet spot with no children and don't need wash dishes or clothes.

Situated 4 miles from Junction 21 of the M5

Site is entered by locked (combination number) gate, has CCTV cameras and security post at night

Within a level 2 acre orchard all pitches are grass with some having hard area for awning

Facilities are a bit dated but are clean, well lit and perfectly adequate (there appears to be no washing up are for tenters however)

There is a large petrol station some 50yards away for supplies of papers, milk, bread basics etc with a Greek Tavern next door to the site.

5 minutes away is the village of Congresbury with a small supermarket, fish and chip shop plus several pubs.

Opposite the site is Congresbury moor where there are endless walks along the River Yeo for dog lovers, National Cycleway 26 (known locally as the Strawberry Lane) also passes right outside the site

Note brochure states small dogs only so would be best to check with site first

There is no play area for children

Some road noise from the A370 and also from planes in and out of Bristol Airport.

Stayed for long weekend to attend a local wedding and will be returning to explore the Moors more

Would make an excellent stopover for the long journey to Cornwall etc.
