Please note this site is now under new ownership, and is no longer a naturist site. (It was previously known as Laulurie En Perigord Naturist Site)

This is our favourite site, naturist or textile, and we have visited it every year since about 2004. It is, in our opinion, the ideal site in which to introduce non-naturists to that particular life-style as it is quiet, peaceful, exceptionally friendly, and totally non-threatening.
As has been reported, the owners (who live on-site) are exceptionally friendly and while Yonnie has very limited English language skills, her husband Francis does speak the language satisfactorily. However, it is always appreciated by those who are foreigners to the British, if we at least attempt to speak their language in their country, and not assume that everyone will accommodate us!
Different electrical connections are available, with the lower ampage connections charged at a lower rate - helpful for tenters who are unlikely to have such caravan appliances as a water heater.
The facilities are not extensive, but the pool is the focal point, and is well-maintained. The communal meals, (including a 'bring-your-own-main course'; frites and dessert available at a fair price; BBQ) are a delight, and those of us (we are not alone) who are regular visitors have become almost an extended family! Last year, 70 of us helped Francis celebrate his 70th birthday anniversary! The Soirée de danse is another of the weekly highlights.
My wife and I could not recommend this site highly enough - but don't wish to go to far, as too many people might then discover our Dordogne diamond site!

Fully accord with most of the comments of Tentz.
We visited late August / early Sept so the site was winding down for shutting mid September. We were part of a 9 night Suntreckers Holiday Rally of 21 units (and so benefitted from group discounts !)which instantly brought some life back. We pitched together at the top of site which was a little cosy for us mainly due to the now very high hedges (they need reducing we feel)as no outlook from most of the top pitches.
The website does the site no justice as it really is very very well kept and clearly much loved by the friendly owners. We did manage some english from them in our stay but simple french helps. Daily bread deliveries. Good wifi in central function barn. Large grounds with options for an on-site strole, decent walking areas off site. Very nice sociable group meals in the central area were good value and well attended. Dogs on lead were allowed but asked to exercise outside on the lane.
Sign posted from La Douze village.
A very pleasant, quiet & relaxing site would be our summary.

We have been visiting this site for many yrs, signposted off the D710 between Perigueux & Les Eyzies in the popular Dordogne tourist area. It is well over a mile off the main rd & the road becomes single track so hope you meet nothing coming the other way!
The owners Yonnie & Francis, have owned the site for 30yrs & have rebuilt it themselves, the love they have for the place does show(No English spoken btw!). The pitches are either up the top & are surrounded by hedges so keeps the wind off, or down the bottom, closer to nature but a steep walk up to the toilets/showers. All pitches reasonably level, grassy & have ehu. On pitch fridge hire available. No problem siting large caravans, access once on site is good.
Naturism is expected at all times from all ages daytimes if weather is warm.
2 toilet/showerblocks, clean with hot water at all times. The site is large & never feels crowded even when busy Jul/Aug. Pool is unheated but clean at all times & plenty large enough for serious swimming, loungers provided around edge. Theres also tennis courts, kids play equipment & the obligatory Petanque area.
Campers are a good mix of French/Brits/Dutch/Belg./German. Something is on every evening, French country dancing, stuff like that & there is a communal meal 2-3 times a week, local produce & 9€ a head, you can bring your own wine so keeps costs reasonable.
The ethos of this site is just peace & quiet in the depths of rural Dordogne, no late night revelry or ought, mainly older couples but always younger families as well. It is remote & a good 10mile drive to a supermarket in any direction. Bread delivery to order every morning & a few essentials sold in small on site shop.
The site is FFN affiliated so should require naturist(INF)cards as issued to British Naturism members. In practise these sort of sites don't always require them, they would rather have the business!
