Nice camping with a beautiful lake near the Lac du Bourget.
We stayed for one week in this camping with a tent near the river. Very quiet place. Pitches are large with shaddow.
Toilets are very clean!
You can order bread for the morning and you can have a drink in the snack bar until 10 pm.
Owners are very friendly.

Visited this campsite for 4 nights after deciding to move north due to the bad storms at the south. Owner was friendly on arrival and we were allowed to choose our own pitch.
The pitches are all numbered but there is nothing to separate them and we found them to be very long, but very narrow. The site was only about half full with a mixture of Dutch and English.
Good Points:
- The site has a small shop with fresh bread (you have to order the night before) and a few other basic supplies.
- There is a lot to see in the local area and some good walking.
- Separate toilet facilities for men and women. Both always very clean.
Bad Points:
- During our stay the small outdoor bar only opened once when England were on the tv and we were charged nearly 9euro for two small beers.
- On 2 nights we left to have a walk next to the lake at the entrance to the site which looked lovely on their website. Both times we turned back as we found large groups of French teenagers with scooters getting drunk on the beach. The facilities at the lake had been vandalised and there was broken beer bottles all over the place.
- On our third night the owner sited a Dutch family with two cars, a caravan and a tent on the pitch next to ours (still not sure why he squeezed them in there when there was loads of other empty pitches). Their tent was pitched so close to ours, the guy ropes crossed each other and the family stayed up until around 2am getting drunk. We cut our stay short and left the next morning.
- If booking in advance, do not pay the extra for the 'privilege' pitch. The 'river' is a tiny little stream and you would not want to point your unit so that you were looking at it.
This was part of the Flowers camping group last year, but it looks like they have dropped it for 2011. Overall, this could be a good site for an overnight stop on route to Italy, but would not recommend it for any longer.
