We returned again this year and everything was as good as before.
We had the pitches we reserved and they were perfect, plenty of shade from the intense heat.
We had three/four overnight thunderstorms, one really bad with torrential rain, but pitches coped well.
We ate in the site restaurant a few times and the food was very good.
We are contemplating returning again next year.

Well this year we returned after Covid prevented us for 2 years. Another amazing holiday.
Electric is now 16A throughout site, with blue plug, not French 2 pin.
Unlimited access to next door theme park for entire holiday after purchasing a pass for each person.
Very reasonable at 12euros for adult and 6 for a child. We will be back next year, as this site suits us admirably.
Will be rebooking as soon as reservations open in January.

Just returned after a 12 day stay at this gem. Owners and staff were superb.
Pitches large, 6A and 10A hook ups most french 2 pin but there were some Blue plug hookups. Nice food in restaurant. Pools were great.
Site has an arrangement with attraction next door, Parc Le Bournat a 1900 based park. You show your booking form from site, pay once and then get free entry for the rest of your stay, Bargain.
Easy walk into town along the river. Market day is a Tuesday, forget using your car until late afternoon, as traffic is chaos.
The prices are very reasonable for a site in the Dordogne area. We are hoping to return next year, so enough said.

Great site, easy book in.
Our pitches were large and reasonably flat.
Good food in restaurant, bread and croissants can be ordered at bar for next day.
Easy walk along river to town.

Stayed five nights and had a great time.
The layout of the site is more open plan with occasional shrubs and trees. The pitches are of good size and adequate number of water taps nearby.
The site is within walking distance of La Bugue and a Intermarche over the bridge also within walking distance.
The site is family run and very friendly.
It has a restaurant which runs one choice menus in the evening. We went twice. It was well attended and offered good value at 15 euros for two courses.
The approach to the site takes you past a small adventure park. We did not experience any problems with the location of this during our stay.
Still no toilet paper supplied.

We enjoyed our week's stay on this campsite. It is lovely and flat, mostly large pitches, and the grass was kept mown - most important. The site is well laid out, good roads within the site making turning easy. Plenty of trees around, giving shade where necessary, and plenty of pitches which are sunny, with maybe one tree. Popular with the Dutch. About 1 km from the very lively town of Le Bugue which has a good market on Tuesdays.
Sanitary facilities were excellent, very clean, although one criticism is that the lights, outside the shower, are on timers and go out half way through a shower! So be prepared to take a large towel and run out to switch them back on! Also - no toilet paper!
Free wifi is advertised, although this is accessible only within a limited distance from the bar. The family who run it is helpful and friendly. There are some communal evening meals run by the family - we partook of a 'moules et frites' which was excellent value and a lot of fun.
Lovely swimming pools.

I have used this site for many years and found it a good centre for the Dordogne. The site has very clean facilities as well as a very good bar and restaurant.
The proprietor takes a special interest in all his campers although his English is limited, his other reception staff speak good English Highly recommended.
The town of Le Bugue and its supermarkets are well within comfortable walking distance. The river Vezere flows adjacent with canoeing available.
