Please note we have been advised that whilst the pub is still open, it no longer offers motorhome or campervan pitches. If you know that this situation has changed in the future, please could you let us know. Many thanks

Stayed here with our Campervan for 2 nights.
Basic site but lovely position in the Cotswold Water Park.
Graham the landlord was very welcoming and chatty and is an excellent piano player!
Eat in the pub both nights and the food was great. Fish n Chips extremely tasty and Burgers on the second night lived up to expectations.
The beer is good as well !
Overall a really nice stay and we would definitely use it again 👍👍

Its a lovely setting for basic camping a field with electric hook ups right next to the village pub.
But wait - the pub is now closed and by the looks of it wont be open for some time without some considerable investment and a lot of hard work.
There is currently no usable shower so wetwipes all the way for us. Luckily we were only staying two nights so although not ideal, not the end of the world.
You can use the toilets in the pub and its open 24hrs a day.
The owner Graham is a lovely chap, very friendly and made us feel very welcome.
I personally would return but I would completely understand why others may not.

This campsite has no toilet! You can use the pub loos but only when it's open - it was closed 3-6 when we were there, as well as overnight! Easy walk to Cricklade for shops etc. Very handy for walking and swimming some of the lakes of Cotswold Water Park, in fact the closest lake is only a 2 min walk and we ended up using it for a morning dip, seeing as there no showers or anything at this site. Found a fresh water tap in the garden, and there are a couple of EHU points. Food in pub not bad. We like things pretty basic but the addition of a portaloo would mean we would come back here - til then probably not.

The booking over the phone was friendly and helpful. When we arrived the site was quite busy. This put a bit of a strain on the 1 toilet in the same room as the shower which didn't appear to be cleaned too regularly. We waited over 20 mins whilst some guy had a shower.
The noise from the nearby concrete by pass was annoying. Ours was only an overnight stay, wouldn't want any more. Sorry won't be back.

This site is basically a field next to a nice pub and suited us fine. It was easy to find and we found the people running the pub and pitches, friendly and easy-going. We also had a drink and a meal in the pub which we enjoyed.
We were self-sufficient in our motorhome, so did not make full use of the facilities, which was a shower, loo and running water. Good location and if you are going to the water parks, you are within walking distance. We would go again.

Facilities are currently very basic (1 toilet, 1 shower) but I believe there's plans to improve these in time.
The site is a very nice, small field at the back of the pub bordered by a stream. We had 6 young children in our group and they loved having the run of the field. The stream and road were no problem for them as there were clear boundaries.
There's lovely walks from the site including a 20 minutes walk to the Cotswold's Water park centre. There's also a small playground just across the road from the pub with a slide, swings and climbing frame.
There is quite a lot of road noise from the A417 which passes close by but we hardly noticed this after the first day.
In all, the site was perfect for our needs, small, friendly, relaxed and cheap. Great to be able to have open fires and being next to a pub is a real bonus.

Site is fairly small and located in a small and quiet village. The campsite is the paddock of a pub which is very nice if you want cold beers on tap!
Also plenty to do in the local area including fishing, walks around the lakes, plus a beach on a nearby lake with a nice cafe etc (good tip is to park outside - saves £3 per adult and £1 per child).
Downside of the campsite is the noise of the nearby A road - if you don't sleep well you won't like it, plus there is only 1 toilet, 1 shower and no washing up facilities which if it gets busy may be a problem (it wasn't for us, but there were only 5 or 6 other pitches when we were there) - this campsite has only been open 2 weeks so facilities may improve in time.
If you have kids the site is surrounded by a stream - we took 6 kids under the age of 8 who were fine, but if you are the worrying type you might not like this. All in all we enjoyed the stay - and as ever, being able to have a campfire is a major major plus.
