We had a wonderful stay. Due to recent wet weather the owner kindly allowed us to stay on their drive, still with hook up.
We were in the area due to a family illness and as such had to alter the dates a few times, but nothing was too much trouble and the owner was very kind and considerate.
And definitely the most secure location ever. Thanks again.

Wow, what a lovely well kept little gem of a site. No toilets or showers, but who needs them.
Lovely people who own the site. Only stopped 1 night as we were travelling
To south coast, but would be ideal for walking, or travelling to surrounding area.
Would definitely stay again, and would definitely recommend 👍👍

Recently spent 10 nights here and it was brilliant. A beautiful site, well spaced, slightly sloping but easily manageable. Owners were very helpful but not intrusive. We both fish and were impressed with the quality of the stock, mainly carp and a few catfish. We will definitely use again if we are in the area. Site facilities were exactly as advertised, no toilet/shower, but if that's what you book you don't expect any (so still scored 10/10 as we got what we asked for). As for child friendliness rating we have scored it a 7 but only as the lake is easily accessed and children would need to be under supervision (common sense really).
We cannot recommend this site enough.

Other reviewers have really said it all - this is a beautiful site which is well-maintained.
The owner was there soon after we arrived at the entrance, giving us the freedom of the site but with advice on the potential slippery nature of the well-groomed lush lawn (too good to be described just as 'grass').
The lake had plenty of big-fish activity and a grey heron was keeping a close eye on them. There's no fence round the lake and there's a steepish slope leading down to it, so children need to be closely supervised. Moorhens pecked around the edge of the lake and swam between the reed beds. A group of geese strutted in convoy along the perimeter of the adjacent field.
The A43 trunk road runs along the bottom of the site, well-hidden by trees. There is some background roar from this but the general peace of the site seems to offset this. Although we are used to sleeping in an area with no traffic we had no problem sleeping, despite open windows.
They take only 5 units and there is plenty of space to keep relatively private. Facilities are limited to electric hook-up, water supply, and toilet dump, so you need your own washing and toilet facilities.
The lawn is on a slight downward slope so levelling ramps are needed (you pitch across slope direction). It rained again shortly before we wanted to leave and our FWD 'van suffered wheel-spin on the way up due to the wet grass. A fellow camper suggested attacking the slope in reverse and this worked well.
I'll be back!

We had been looking for somewhere to stay in the area and found this one, I emailed the owner to inquire about availability and had a very prompt reply confirming our dates. We spent three nights here in absolutely amazing weather and what an absolute gem of a site. Very welcoming helpful owners, immaculately kept cl type site, water, chemical disposal, electric hook ups, fishing on site. Highly recommended.

What a beautiful site. This is one of the most peaceful and pleasant sites I have ever visited. The owners should be very proud of what they have. The fishing is very good too. I will be back there soon for the Grand Prix and staying at this site will mean a lovely weekend once again. I have had to put 3 out of 10 for site facilities but please don't let this put of you off, it is only because of the fact that they do not have toilet and washing facilities but if you have your own shower and toilet it is perfect.

Just got back home after spending 3 nights at this site.
Great site well kept and owners were very friendly. We were the only tourer and 4x4 that arrived during our stay so had the pick of the site. 4 campervans did arrive during our stay but remained at the top of the site as land was still drying out.
Power did go out a few times during our stay but owners were in the process of rewiring the site while we were there and on our return on day 2 were plugged into the new setup without further problems.
We stayed here due to a show we attend every year at Silverstone and will be booking again next year.
Excellent site and highly recommended.

This a very well kept site and pretty too with the fishing lake on site. No toilets/showers but this was not an issue for us as we have our own facilities. We were the only unit for most of the 7 nights we spent there.
The lake is very well stocked and used regularly by day visitors. Easy access with our t/a caravan and siting left to us to choose. Plenty of room. The owner kindly told us if we visited again and she was not available to meet us to site ourselves.
There is some road noise but not too intrusive for us. Walks for the dogs. Main roads nearby for shopping and site seeing. Oxford is well worth seeing but it cost £8. 70 for 3 hours parking so if possible use Park and Ride.

Beautiful place, only enough room for 5 caravans, no toilet block but not a problem if your in a caravan, bit difficult if you wanted to camp. Fishing is really good, very well stocked, there is crucian carp, mirror and commons from babies to 15lb, and there is catfish in there to up to 45 lb, although we wasn't lucky enough to catch one of them, fishing was constant and loved all the baits we threw in. The owners were very lovely too, all in all a great place for a weekend away and we are definitely going back.
There is the village of Syresham, quaint little place with a village shop, but it didn't sell cigarettes, and a lovely pub, the Kings Head, all people were very friendly.
Nearest place for food was Brackly but had everything that you would need.
