Loved it, will definitely be going back again with my children, they will love playing on the field and enjoy fishing.
Friendly owners.
Only downfall was toilets and showers not being open ( not the owners fault tho, due to covid!)

Just come back from a long weekend over the bank holiday and never to return!
Site location is down the end of a very long lane which isn't suitable for caravans and only has one passing place should you meet another vehicle.
One toilet block with shower and toilet within the same room, so if someone else is using the shower your in for a long wait!
No wash up facilities at all on site.
Waste disposal is hidden and not very clean. Finally found it on outside of a building where they keep young chicks. The smell from the waste area was masked from the smell from the young chicks cramped area.
Was told off for using a flash light during a walk to said toilet block at 10pm due to disturbing the owners 6 dogs that at kept in a barn. These dogs could be heard barking and howling at any point of the day or night so can't see why a simple flash light would disturb them.

Decided to visit this farm for Easter break, as it is not too far away from home and accepts pets.
We had booked via the internet and when we arrived we couldn't find a spot to camp with electric hook up, went over to the house to see the owners and within minutes we were found a ideal spot and the electric hook up was extended to reach where we were pitched.
The fields are kept spotlessly clean and families are made very welcome. There were sheep in the bottom fields and their is a fishing pool, which we saw someone catch a huge fish out of!
The old toilet block is basic. You can have a shower and use the toilet at the same time! But they have also got new portable cabin style toilet facilities, with nice power showers (but no heating - was a bit cold on April). The facilities were kept spotless all weekend despite it being very wet and muddy outside.
There are some lovely walks along the river, the 'Ship Inn' is just down the river and serves food and drink at reasonable prices. There is a lovely Indian Take away in town that delivers to the campsite.
All in all, we had a great weekend! Nice quiet locations, great for families and couples. We are hoping to go back again for the next bank holiday weekend!

Agree the toilets are dodgy - no doubt about that. But they weren't blocked, and so long as you bring your own paper, you'll be OK.
But the rest of the site is wonderful. A working farm with all sorts of pheasant and duck rearing going on - very interesting. They also had a point to point course, and a local jockey turned up to train.
The river and Severn Valley Railway are a few hundred yards away. Loads of lovely walks.

The site is over a couple of fields in a busy and interesting farm. We camped in the second field which was gently sloping and had been recently mown. We were the only tent on site. The rest were touring caravans which didn’t appear to have moved recently. Facilities for campers were basic but adequate.
We paid £12.50 per night for tent, 2 adults and 2 children, which was cheaper than other sites in the area. The owner and other campers were very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay. The farm is set in beautiful countryside with many lovely walks direct from the farm. It is close to the Severn valley Railway and although it doesn’t have direct access to the river it is good base for anyone exploring the river between Bridgnorth and Bewdley.
The only negative were the 2 toilets which score a mark for effort but on every other criteria score a zero. To reach the toilet you had a enter a room full of stuffed animals which was a bit surreal. The toilets didn’t smell but the chicken shed attached certainly did.
There was no toilet paper, soap or towels in either toilet all weekend. The toilet was actually in the shower (you have to see it to believe it). On one occasion the shower was hot but only produced a tiny trickle. On another occasion there was plenty of power but no hot water. Although newly built the toilets were cramped, airless and dark. A single economy bulb gave little light and the light switch was outside and over 6 foot high. Most of our party couldn’t reach it!
Overall the positives more than made up for the negatives and I would visit again next time I am exploring the area.
Check the map carefully before leaving as there is no sign to the campsite from the main road in Highley.
