 Arrived at The Horse & Hounds Inn on a midweek evening without booking. We're told there was a pitch free, and directions how to get into the site. The pitch consists of a small area of level hardstanding behind the pub in the car park, 2 pitches with adjacent EHU and tap. Toilets are available in the pub when open. No showers.
We had food and a few drinks in the Inn, very pleasant staff, friendly locals, fair prices and tasty food after a long day.
Price for one night including EHU was £10. It seems that this is a new venture with new owners of the establishment, and I would imagine will improve. Ideal for an easy stopover with food/nice pub close by. In a pretty village, although the pitch setting is a bit 'back of a pub'. But very quiet and feels safe.
