 Nice small, quiet site, very helpful owners - only too willing to help - they regularly charged our phones and Ipad during our stay and gave advice on the locality. Children's bikes and scooters were available to use on the site as well as a small play area for young children. Site was full during our stay but it didn't feel overcrowded or noisy, despite lots of families and dogs! Seemed to be used by French and Dutch mainly. We were lucky with our pitch which was shady and a good size, but some seemed very small and hemmed in. The toilet block was adequate but could certainly do with an update. We chose the site mainly for its location close to the Puy de Dome mountain but we found lots of other beautiful walks in the area. A good sat-nav or detailed maps are a bonus to discover this beautiful rural area and the wildlife - we saw eagles about ten feet away as we drove down a country lane - magical!

We stopped here overnight between the Canal du Midi and the Loire Valley. Pleasant NH, but a bit remote for longer stay - no facilities within walking distance so far as we could see. Ideal for walkers, cyclists and others who like a remote site in a beautiful area. Small site and very quiet when we were there. Quite a few cabins. Lovely heated, covered pool. Clean, pleasant wash blocks. Various facilities on site, but we didn't use them as only stopping one night.

Nice site, good grassy pitches. Ours had a slight view of a volcano, which I enjoyed immensely. Catherine and her family, who run the site, are lovely friendly people who work really hard to make your holiday special. Nothing is too much, they even have lovely little handwritten itineraries for you to follow to see all the local sights.
There's a nice heated covered pool (with Aquagym during the season!) I had a real hoot doing aquagym with a bunch of local ladies and a German couple in the middle of a downpour.
There's a little covered outdoor bar, where they'd moved the tv for the World Cup at the time we were there. There is also a games room with pool table.
There are plenty of loos and showers with lashings of hot water and little extras, a hairdryer, baby baths, a little shower hose for rinsing (kids) hair. But it has to be said, the sanitary block is a bit old and tired.
A good place to stay for a few days to explore Clermont Ferrand (surprisingly nice) and the Puy de Dome & other volcanoes (a real wow!)
