 Very disappointed in this site. Location beautiful but it was like being in a car park, gravel area with marked pitches and hookups. Only one toilet/shower block for site. We did not know that the site had been taken over by Euro camp this year so the book we were using was out of date, even though it was a 2016 publication.
We booked by phone and were given a price of €48 for two nights for two adult and a dog, however about thirty minutes away I checked my emails and found a conformation stating €84. So I was expecting a very good site. The price difference may have been due to our misunderstanding but when looking at the invoice there was a booking charge of €18. To make it worse we had to pay a €50 refundable deposit for a card to enter site, in cash and all hot water had to be paid for by token, even to wash dishes. The site shop had no fresh veg, fruit or chilled produce. It did have a takeaway and restaurant/bar. The views from our pitch were great as we looked into the marina, which was busy.
Nice supermarket about 5k with good cycle track all the way.
The showers facilities were good except for a very wet floor in the communal area and all the sinks and surfaces covered in dead insects. Will not be back.
