Last minute August bank holiday booking so we were pleased that we could be fitted in. Easy to access from A road but consequently downside is the traffic noise. Also be aware that the sign is not obvious until you need to turn in. One large field with a small fence down the middle splitting the CL site from the general site. Mostly hardstandings. Another small field with seasonal caravans is off the driveway. Modern toilet and shower block containing two showers and two toilets all unisex which wouldn't be a problem except the £1 coin meter for the showers is located outside the door. This means you have to get undressed, wrap towel round yourself and then open door to put money in so you get your full 6 minute shower! Didn't ever have to queue though. Some people thought it would be suitable to shower their dog in here too! Dishwashing area also in here. We were in our VW campervan and found that once you turned off the A roads the lanes were extremely narrow (and we live in a rural area so are used to lanes) so would restrict where you went in a larger vehicle. Footpath opposite entrance but lots of cows in the field so not ideal for dog walking - you can walk across to the beach this way. Farm dog is allowed free access to camping field which is a bit frustrating for your own dog who has to be kept on a lead.

Lovely working farm, very friendly owners, with great views of estuary and sea in the distance. Pitches all level with slate bits to keep dry. Showers and toilets modern and clean. However, do not approach from Maentwrog as entrance very narrow and if coming from Barmouth direction, easier to navigate. Showers are £1 for six minutes and you pay outside of your individual shower room so if it runs out you would have to go out into the entrance to add more money. A bit daft. I paid one time and got a cold shower. Although pitches flat, the field is sloping and after a rainy night, we got stuck and had to ask a fellow caravaner to tow us off with his 4x4. So, overall, really nice, peaceful location but not suitable for all.

What a lovely site, and what a view.
The children had a lovely time running around in the big open field and we had a lovely big pitch.
The shower and toilet block were cleaned daily and they had a washing machine (£3) which was great on our two week tour.
The owners were really friendly and even helped us get off the site when it was a little wet and we couldn't get grip in the rain, they even said if necessary they would use their 4 wheel drive!
This is a working farm so you can purchase their lamb.
Water was from a spring but they also had mains available if you wanted it.
Showers were £1 for 6 minutes, which was plenty of time.
Loads to do nearby including a small slate cavern and cafe which are within walking distance (although we found out after driving there) lovely cakes and friendly family run venture. There is also a children's play farm on same site, pay separately. Kids loved both.
Not far to Herlich castle either.
Hopefully we will be able to visit again soon.

Good points:
Excellent sea view from site.
Not so good points:
Although this is a 5Van CL site there is an adjacent field that had 9 vans and motorhomes on at the same time the CL was full. With only one toilet and shower there can be queue at busy times. It didn't help that one morning the toilet paper had run out. The showers are expensive at £1 but you do get 5 minutes.
The site is sloping and after heavy rain you may have difficulty getting off although there are mats available.
Bad points:
The site owners' three dogs have free access to the site and tend to use it as toilet.

Lovely views from the site and very friendly helpful owners. The site is well kept, though I guess facilities are a bit limited, but we had our own so that wasn't an issue for us.
Initially we too were disappointed that there were more than 5 vans on the site, but it is a large field and there is plenty of space and as the field slopes quite a bit, the vans on the front row are well below the ones on the back and so don't obstruct the view.
No pubs etc. In walking distance but Harlech and Barmouth are only a very short drive away. There is quite a nice walk to the beach from the site. Sunsets over the Lleyn Peninsula fantastic.

Nice site with a wonderful view over the Llanbedr estuary, Llandanwg and Shell Island. Slopes a bit in places so levelling blocks are essential. Plenty of hook up points and water taps, almost on a one per pitch basis. Shower and toilet in small timber building near the entrance with another toilet at the bottom of the field.
Care should be taken when entering or leaving the site as the lane is single track, no passing places and a bit pot holed in places. Best tackled at walking pace but otherwise ok.
Would advise booking to be sure of a pitch.
