 If you are after peace and tranquillity then look no further than Nathania. Very small site with narrow access roads tucked away a short walk from the picturesque village of Altarnum in Cornwall. We had 2 days with beautiful blue skies. There is a field where you can exercise your dog and let it run round.
They have a Christian Fellowship meeting on Sunday morning at 10:30 and one in the evening at around 7:00pm, if you are into it I'm sure you'll be more than welcome. They don't push it down your throat if you are not into it so don't be put off at all.
The owner, Mary, is one of the worlds 'nice' people, very friendly and helpful.
We shall return again indeed we are contemplating have a rally there with some friends.
There is a WC which is perfectly adequate and very clean.
We walked into the village and the post office there is well stocked and run by friendly,helpful staff. Just down the road from the campsite you can buy eggs and honey, we bought the extra large for £1.10 half a dozen, everyone was a double yoker! The Honey was set and delicious.
There is also a pub within walking distance although we didn't venture there as we had all we needed on site. TV reception was excellent using just our small freeview TV with a sting ariel on the roof of the camper van.
If you are after lots of activity then look elsewhere, this is a peace and tranquillity site.
