I returned to this site again at the end of my holiday. Helpful / friendly staff and the site was pretty empty so pitched still connected to my car. The facilities are very good and always clean.

The outside pool was closed for the season but the indoor one was available but as the weather was so good, never used it.

Well worth a visit to this site.

We used as a 2 night stopover on our way back to France instead of Pamplona. Just a few miles off the A12, very easy to get to on decent roads.

The site doesn't look great from the approach, however once we were inside it really is a well kept site. The statics are in one area, cabins etc in another and a large open area for tourers. Reception lady was brilliant, helpful and friendly and spoke good English.

Pitches are all on grass, it was a bit wet and muddy as rained whilst we were there. Pitches all have ehu, fresh water on push button posts, one to each row - possibly slowest we have ever used.

Showers / loos have been refurbished inside, very modern and well kept. There is also a good size laundry area and washing up. Wifi was included in the price of the pitch - it was a strong signal but went off for 30-40 second every 10 minutes.

There is an indoor heated swimming pool with a jacuzzi and sauna included in pitch price. You need to have a lifeguard present to use so you book an hour you want to use. Its a lovely pool, shame the lifeguard seemed less than impressed at having to be present for just two of us for an hour.

The medieval village is a few minutes walk and really worth visiting. A bakers, two small supermarkets, a couple of bars and cafe, a butches and a fishmongers - you can get everything you could want (campsite supermarket closed in winter).

Back to the campsite, only us and one caravan there so very quiet (although a few residents in the statics area). Believe it can be very busy in season - the campsite give out a leaflet that says during fiestas and on a some Saturday nights they have live music until 2am.

For a stopover it is certainly worth visiting.

I stayed here at the end of my holiday for an overnight stop before heading for the ferry at Bilboa. Not too far from the motorway network. It's about 2-3hrs from Bilboa.

The campsite was very quiet and fairly empty. The facilities are very good & clean. A small mini golf course and tennis courts are on site. The pool and pool area are really good.

I would recommend this site and would visit it again.

Had looked at this site before setting of so this was our first stop in Spain and was not disappointed. Rather empty when we arrived but as the weekend came it filled up with Germans, Spanish, a good mix on the campsite and within the many lodges there are on this site. But because it was getting to end of season the bar and shop were not open very much, if you need something had to go looking for the staff, not a problem. Good services clean and well kept, washing machines etc good as well. Would go back and am sure when summer is in full swing this would be a very busy campsite with what is all there for the children.

This is a large, popular site with lots of facilities, especially sporting. There are a lot of bungalows, some for rent but many privately owned. The area for tourers is large, level and grassy with some trees for shade. There is one large central toilet block, well-equipped and modern. Toilets have both seats and paper, washbasins have soap and hand driers, and the showers are the push-button type with no temperature control - they took quite a long time to get hot. There is a large washing-up and laundry room, plus washing machines and driers. There is a very big restaurant and a bar/cafe with a terrace, also a supermarket. The swimming pool is large and has a water slide. There are lots of sports facilities: tennis, football, squash courts, pelota (this is Basque country), boating on the river Arga which runs beside the site, and a children's playground with a large climbing 'tree'. The site gets busy at weekends with an influx of Spanish families, and it's also popular with rallies - there were two while we were there, one Belgian, one Dutch. The site also has separate accommodation for visiting school parties - again there were two while we were there, which made it a bit noisy. The site is well-placed for visiting the many interesting and historic towns in the vicinity, such as Pamplona, Puente la Reina and Olite, also the Rioja vineyards and the desert scenery of the Bardenas Reales. It's a fascinating area and very different from the usual tourist Spain, but this means that not so many people speak English, so take your Spanish phrasebook!
