 This is a busy lively site, with a great atmosphere, set back from the lake. There is a great pool with shoots, children's play area, kid's club, tennis, bike hire, restaurant/bar and a shop. There are lots of wash blocks which were kept clean. We were given a pretty compact pitch, despite having told them that we had a large tent and just managed to get our tent, car and trailer onto it. Pitches are delimited by trees, but these don't give much shade. We were pleased to find that the majority of campers were French, but were disappointed to find some Dutch staff who didn't speak great English running the kids club. All menus and notices are in Dutch and French and one kids club activity was to find letters for a Dutch word!
There was lots of entertainment during the day and in the evenings. The pool was great but there was the usual fight for sunloungers :-) The restaurant was good, if a little expensive and the shop served it's purpose with fresh bread and milk (in high & mid season) and limited groceries each morning from 7am. There is a no noise between 11pm and 7am rule, which sadly campsite staff did not adhere to. On a number of occasions evening entertainment, which took place outside the bar area did not finish 'til gone midnight and the pool was scrubbed with a deck brush every morning at 6. 30am. We had a lovely 2 weeks here and loved swimming in the lake which you can walk to (10mins) and you are not far from the cycle route that runs to Annecy. My only real complaint would be the noise, but I guess you don't get all the activities and facilities without some noise - after two weeks our children were all very sleep deprived and grumpy. If we were to camp here again we would request a pitch further away from the pool.
Incidentally the location is wrong on the map on this site; it is inbetween Duingt and Doussard.
