 Reasonably easy to find, using a satnav with coordinates. The roads/tracks to the site are very uneven and bumpy, to the point that we broke a couple mugs and a glass. Comically when you get to the end of the bumps and potholes you are confronted with several sleeping policemen !
On arrival there wasn’t anyone about so we selected a pitch and later received a friendly welcome from the staff.
This is a lakeside campsite, with a pool (ladies must wear swimming hats) and restaurant/bar overlooking the lake. The food is very good and cheap too, a bottle of very nice wine added only 8 Euros. It is well used by local people and booking a table is a good idea.
The pitches are very large, shaded and nearly all offer a view of the lake which can be walked around in 45 mins. Very few offer any more than 4 amps electricity and although there is a water tap on most pitches it runs at a trickle hence getting it from a mains tap near reception is the best bet. (this might have been a temporary issue).
Canoes can be used free of charge though I’m sure mine was banana shaped.
On the downside, the camp sits beneath the flightpath into Pisa. If the aircraft are landing you get little noise, but if they’re taking off it is noisy. That said it didn’t bother us after a while.
The showers and WC’s are pretty poor really, and the chemical disposal is awful. In particular the WC’s are odd in that when sitting down you literally have only 12/15 inches between you and the door which opens outwards, hence larger folk might struggle a bit.
Pisa itself, is very close by and parking there was easy.
Overall we loved this place, during our 6 week tour of Europe this was actually our favourite of the 10 we stayed at, so peaceful and there was just something about it that made you want to stay longer

We were looking for a night halt and found this site close to Pisa in the middle of the countryside alongside a small fishing and leisure lake - they even have little kayaks and lifejackets for you to jump in to go for a paddle!
The pitches are grassy and separated by young bushes with hookups and shared water every 2 pitches. Each one also has its own sunshade so either park your car under it or use as an awning for table and chairs and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of this wonderful little site.
There is a good sized swimming pool and even a small restaurant and bar where you can watch the sun go down whilst enjoying a drink or a delicious meal. There is also a very small shop where you can buy bread in the morning with a few other bits and pieces and the facilities are good enough where they also have a washing machine and tumble dryer on site.
The welcome you get is great and just added to the experience here - so much so we stayed an extra night. Pisa, Livorno, Lucca and others are close by which simply makes this little gem a site worth detouring to! Oh yes, Camping Cheques, ACSI and others accepted making Camping Temerici even better value for money.
