Having stayed at this little gem of a place twice now, all I can say is we’re very much looking forward to coming back again soon. First stay was before the pandemic and the second stay was after the first lockdown had been lifted.
A beautiful little site, shower and toilet facilities available (although we’re not in use during the pandemic understandably so we used the van facilities instead).
Upon arrival we received a very friendly welcome, making sure that the facilities would be as accessible as they could be for myself as a disabled person.
So quiet that the local wildlife was quite happy running around with us watching. A real hidden gem and most certainly worth it in cost.
Not so sure about what shops etc are nearby as we stopped at the supermarket in Market Rasen on the way in to get everything we needed so that we could just enjoy a nights escape from reality.
Really hoping to stay again soon.

We received a lovely warm welcome on arrival. Plenty of room between the pitches with the grass freshly cut. 1 toilet 1 shower. The site is located in a lovely rural setting and is an ideal base for some fantastic walks, we will be going back sometime this year

We have just finished a nine day stay at Church Farm. All the good reviews are spot on and the owners Richard and Leslie couldn’t be more helpful. It’s true there are no pubs or shops within easy walking distance – part of its off the grid charm.
However the highly rated Bull Inn, at South Kelsey, is less than three miles away and a five minute drive. In under 15 minutes you can be at Market Rasen Tesco, The Blacksmith’s Arms at Rothwell, or The Kings Head at Tealby. These latter two pubs are favourites of mine as they offer excellent beer, food and traditional pub ambience – they also welcome dogs. If you prefer coffee shops, you will find fantastic grub at Sunny Side Up farm shop/restaurant on the road to Tealby.
Also worth a mention is Hemswell Antique Centre just a 20 minute drive away heading west – 375 antique dealers on a sprawling ex RAF base. It’s as good as Portobello Road, but quieter and less pricey.
Church Farm is a peaceful retreat with far reaching views to the North. Great for a relaxing break, but lots going on nearby. Slightly further afield are the joys of Lincoln and Cleethorpes!

Just returned from an 11 day visit. The site is well cared for and the owners very helpful. Site was very busy when we arrived but two days later we had the field to ourselves. Toilet facilities were clean and shower hot. Unfortunately nearest pub was 6 miles away and most of the nearby roads were narrow lanes.
If you are interested in RAF museum it's the place to be. If in the area again would definitely stay here.

As previous reviews have said, a fantastic, well maintained site with lovely friendly owners. Really enjoyed the peace and quiet, and the tour given by the owner was great!
Clean toilet facilities, although they may benefit from having more than one toilet at busy times. Was really pleased that they had recycling facilities too.
Not much nearby, so stock up before you go!
We will be returning to this site again later in the year.

Smashing, quiet site. Pleasant long distance walks, though unfortunately no decent pubs nearby. Owners are a terrific couple, helpful and friendly. We stayed there over the easter hols for £12 a night with electric. There is a shower/toilet at the end of the owners house, kept very clean. Would recommend. Though this is on the outskirts of the wolds it is only a short drive to quaint market towns and the rolling hills of the wolds.

As previous reviewers have said, Church Farm House is a very peaceful and relaxing rural campsite. The field is flat, sheltered and well maintained. The owners are on hand if needed and will give you a tour of the facilities when you arrive. There is a toilet and shower which was regularly cleaned.
There are footpaths next to the site which are useful to exercise dogs off site. We also visited Willingham Woods to the east of Market Rasen, which the hound loved! There is a bikers shack in the lay by before the car park that sells fantastic bacon butties & ice creams which was an expected bonus.
There are limited shops in the immediate vicinity so it may be worth stocking up before arriving on site. However, it is a short drive to Market Rasen where there are a range of shops/pubs/restaurants and Tesco.
We had a relaxing stay at Church Farm House and I'd happily return.

Have just returned from the May bank holiday weekend, and a fantastic time was had by all!
Great value for money, £6 for a basic pitch, still only £10 for EHU.
As it was a group booking (we had 7 of the 10 available pitches)i had lots of questions - which where no trouble at all to the wonderful owners and their son came over a few evenings & shared a beverage with us too :)
We had a tour round the farm, including the newly acquired & beautiful shetland ponies.
We sampled the farms free range eggs & sausages, both wonderful.
The dutch barn provided us with shelter in the wind, and the huge bbq was great.
The only gripe I would have was there was only 1 combined toilet & shower but we were told there's plans for this to be expanded soon. Also, a pub closer would have been great as the nearest one has closed down so always meant there being a Des (desgnated driver)to hand.
The nearby Brandy Wharf cider centre is definitely worth a visit! :)
A great small campsite to get away from it all, I would definitely recommend.

Stayed for 2 nights over the Bank Holiday weekend and my review is basically echoing the previous ones.
Owners are lovely and friendly, very welcoming indeed. Our pitch had fantastic views across the fields.
The site is flat, has basic facilities (no sign of the EHU or toilet block renovation work) but when we stayed there were 10 tents (bikers there for the Cadwell meeting) and we never had to wait for the single (spotlessly clean) bathroom.
There is a large covered shelter for the campers to use when the weather is bad.
No pubs nearby but Market Rasen is 3 or so miles away and there are plenty there.
Great site, great location, great owners.

Great little campsite!
The owners, Lesley and Richard are very friendly and made us feel very welcome. After tea they gave my daughter and I a tour around their farm and we got to see piglets that were only 48 hrs old!
Toilet/shower block is currently on the owners house but has easy access day or night. They have plans to build a toilet/shower block on site which will be good.
Richard had just finished building a communal bbq that's looks great! They also sell their own produce, bbq packs and fresh eggs.
We were the only campers on site so had all the room we wanted to play games etc.
There are a couple of public walks just off the site.
What more can I say! Excellent place with lovely owners.
So glad we found this site and we'll definitely be returning very soon.
