This was our second visit, to this amazing campsite and we will be back again very soon. The campsite is a hidden gem the grounds and caravan are beautiful kept and the night sky is amazing and it's a wonderful place to unwided and recharge your batteries and escape from it all.
On arrival the caravan was wonderful clean and tidy and just want we wanted, very warm welcome from a lovely couple ( Nigel and Ann and their 2 dogs), and the made us feel very welcome and relaxed.
As a family we would highly recommended this wonderful campsite. Aberdaron is an amazing place so full of natural beauty it takes your breath away. We manage to explore all the beaches and coves. Thanks very much for a amazing holiday. See you soon.

Excellent hidden gem. Absolutely immaculate grounds very well drained with electric hook ups. Well maintained toilets and shower area. Undercover kitchen area with boiling hot water, use of a fridge freezer too at no extra cost. Chemical loo disposal.
Brilliant campfire area and great owners who are there to help at any point.
We keep returning here as its a hidden gem in between Abersoch and Aberdaron (3 miles) 5 Min from Whistling Sands beach. Perfect location rather than the noisy crowded sites close by. Great value for money £15 a night for a caravan that includes your elec too. Dogs allowed on leads obviously clean up after your dog.
It can rain over night you think its going to be soggy ground but its not its the most well drained and maintained ground we have stayed on.
No matter where we go we always return to this site. Watch wildlife from the field go for a cycle or walk down the lanes. Very convenient site away from the busier cram em in sites. Big field for the kids to play on very safe and secure, tree swing and camp fire area.

If you like stargazing then this is paradise. Very dark skys and low horizons. If you want to get away from it all this is paradise. Large field and plenty of room around your van. If you like good company and a night spent around an open log fire then this is paradise. I was up until after one am sitting and talking to the owners and campers around an open fire. If you like wildlife there are birds from Tits to Woodpeckers and creatures to be found around the small stream that flows through the bottom of the field. If you want noise and load music then go somewhere else, leave this place for those who appreciate it. I did have the advantage of excellent weather and the two nearby beaches costing £3 for a car and four or £1. 50 parking all day with crystal clear water and golden sands were only a short car journey away.
The two owners Ann and Nigel couldn't do enough for you but are new to the business and I hope their generosity isn't spoilt by some ignorant campers who might try and take advantage of their kindness and trust. The site is a work in progress and has only two toilets and two showers but one shower was being refurbished when I visited and needed tiling. The washing up room doubles as a food prep area but has the advantage of a dedicated water heater for the sink so you always have hot water. There are plenty of sockets in the kitchen area so charging a phone or battery isn't a problem. There is also the advantage of a fridge to keep your beer in if you wanted. This is one site I will go back to again and again. It is far enough out of the way to be quiet 99% of the time. If I was to make any criticism it would be about the lack of signposting to the site but this works for me as a lack of signposts means I may be able to keep this place secret for a while.

We have stayed on this site a number of times now and would highly recommend it. The site is situated slightly off the beaten track (off one of the single track lanes), which means there is complete peace and tranquillity. Owned by the very friendly & helpful Ann & Nigel.
Its a small, friendly site and the major benefits are the beautiful location and peaceful setting. There is a choice of 2 fields to pitch. One small area opposite the cottage or the larger main field which houses the toilet/shower/kitchen area.
The facilities are basic, but kept clean and are perfectly adequate. There are 2 toilet cubicles and a shower cubicle. The shower is free and the water is always hot. There is a utility area which has a large sink and dish draining stand.
There is also an undercounter fridge (no freezer compartment) and an electric kettle that campers can use. Currently, you need to boil the kettle for washing up as there is no hot water but the owners intend to sort this out in the future.
Ann also leaves the mop, bucket and cleaning items in the utility area should you need them. There is a box outside the utility area for recycling glass, plastic and tins.
The grass is in immaculate condition and regularly attended to. There are EHU pithces available and 1 pitch has a sunken fire pit so you can build a campfire, which is just fabulous!
The owners have also mentioned they may invest in portable fire pits that they intend to loan out, which will make a huge difference on cold evenings. The field is well enclosed, so safe for young children to run about and play. There is also a tyre swing attached to a tree. Also, if you get a clear night the stars are amazing as there is no light pollution.
The site is located 5 minutes drive from whistling sands, which is breathtaking (but does not allow dogs in peak season). There is a post office / little shop and cash machine 10 minutes drive in Sarn. There is a Spar in Nefyn (15 - 20 mins away) and the main shopping facilities are in Pwllheli (35 mins away) where you will find an Asda, Lidl & Sommerfield.
Whenever we have camped there has never been more than 4 or 5 set ups there (and sometimes just us) but I suspect it may get busier as people are discovering the site - so keep it quiet and don't tell anyone!
