 A simple site in the middle of rolling fields, we arrived here with much anticipation for 3 nights en route to Switzerland. Having started our camping lives with feather down farms, and progressed to our own canvas but still with a love for peace and quiet this site seemed to tick all boxes !
A beautiful location, friendly owners, great sunsets, orchard brimming with fruit, small swimming pool, fridge stocked with fizz and beer, bread van in the morning and egg laying chickens. Lots of positives and smiles on faces.
However, it should be mentioned that with only one loo and one at a time solar shower that if the site were busy - only us plus one other tent pretty much through our stay - things would be bound to be less chilled.
Also, there are actually 9 pitches these days, not the 4 originally conceived. Not really an issue as there is plenty of space but again thinking of loo etc this could perhaps be something to bear in mind. (a group had booked the whole site for the week after us so be interesting to see if they add a comment here)
The Eco concept is great and we are all for it but at present drainage for the shower is straight to the ground as is washing up water (take your own wash bowl to do on your pitch) so do think about detergent levels if this is important to you.
All in all, this site has huge potential and already ticks many boxes and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
