Used as NH on way to south of France. Final approach through the village involved some narrow roads and tight bends for our long, though single-axle caravan but thankfully we didn't meet anything. Nice site though. Neat and tidy. Clean, heated, modern toilet block. Limited facilities this time of year as you would expect. Reception not manned throughout the day but note on the door advised to pitch up and check in later. Good value with ACSI discount. Would use again.

We really enjoyed this site, well laid out and maintained. An increasing number of log cabins taking up spaces.
The last part of the journey to the site is along fairly narrow roads but they are not busy and no problems if you take care.
Larges toilet block, good facilities and clean.
Village of Flurie is only 10 minute walk thro the vines. Good food at the bar just past the Church (sorry, cannot remember name)
Reception is helpful, even more so if you try a little French yourself. They make own bread on site, have wines tasting twice weekly.
We will return

Excellent site, very friendly staff, open spacious pitches divided by low hedges-easily accessed. Toilet facilities very clean, boiling hot water, disabled access, dish washing and laundry facilities. Easy walk into town, cute little town to wander round. Really good stopping place and a great holiday spot too. Wine area with all the attractions of vineyards.

We spent 2 nights here 22 and 23 June. Nice site. Reception staff speak good English is you need it and were very polite and helpful. Pitches are screened off by hedges and are quite generous. Good toilet blocks - all clean and lots of hot water for the showers. There is also a small swimming pool. Free WiFi if you sit near reception but connection is a bit haphazard. The town is small with boulongerie, bar/restaurant (fairly expensive) and a couple of shops. If you like Beaujolais wines, call into the Cave shop in town - they have all the Beaujolais village wines at a decent price. Not much to do in this area so I would say 2 nights would probably be the maximum unless you intended to visit the surrounding villages. Nice site and would recommend it. Cost was 43. 40 euro for 2 adults, 1 dog and electric.

The campsite is municipal and cheap, but it is well-kept and in a stunning setting. The pitches are well set out, but I wouldn't call them generous. Water and electricity are within easy reach. The toilet blocks are good - the one nearest to us was brand spanking new and sexes are separate. There's a children's play area, a table tennis table and a beautiful if small new pool. We used the tennis court over the road (you pay at the campsite). The staff weren't overly friendly, but perfectly fine. There's a pc for internet access in the reception (can't remember but it might be free). A baker stops each morning to sell bread and there's a weekly wine tasting evening where a local winerie bring some samples. You're in the town so not far away from amenities. I haven't rated child friendliness as we didn't take kids, so I can't really judge.
The main reason we wanted to visit Fleurie is because we like the wine. Be warned, it's very hilly, but you are in a very pretty town surrounded by vineyards. The best thing about it is being able to visit the vineyards that offer tasting and there's a shop run by a co-operative of smaller wineries in the town. Much less pompous than Burgundy if you're into this. A few restaurants, which were good, but we weren't bowled over. There are others in the surrounding villages. We went into Macon for one meal, which was excellent (there's a street by the waterfront which has several restaurants in a row and v busy on a Saturday night). Overall, we spent 4 days and had a lovely stay.
